Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Counsel 4a

I hope you all are well and reading what I have been writing about Counselling and Gathering more information. I Hope All of you are keeping well as usual. I am Continuing about Counselling from the last posts:  Counselling ~ 1! Counselling ~ 2!

Counsel 1
I have to remind Again that, “This is what I have learnt during “My Journey” towards, “Wellness” also from what I have studied and by doing References and Reading. Below is what I have written as an answer in, “The Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy”!

Counsel 26

Counsellor as A Therapeutic Person: Counselling is an intimate form of learning. It demands a practitioner who is willing to be an “Authentic Person in the Therapeutic Relationship.  Authentic describes something that is real or genuine ~ I net!

Counsel 22
What this means is, “The Counsellor has to be Open, Sincere and Honest”. It is then only “The Client will also be able to be open and make progress in the correct way. If the person as “A Counsellor” hide and not show “The Real Self” The people whom they talk to also will keep themselves and what they are going through hidden and not show or speak of what They are going through”!

Counsel 25

What I have experienced is, That the Counsellor, The Doctor or The Therapist has to “To be able to Trust” and Not Think we are making up a story. This is the most important thing, otherwise the moment you feel they don’t, one is not able to be open and get hurt, and after that going to that person is not helpful. For this reason, “It has to be someone whose personality agrees with the client. It can be according, “To the culture and similar facts also”!

Counsel 20

The Purpose of Counselling: The basic purpose of counselling is to help people use their existing problem-solving skills more effectively or to develop new or better coping skills. Counsellors cannot “Fix” other people’s problems exactly. Their job is to provide an opportunity for the person to describe their feelings and problems for themselves and then to reach decisions and actions that are based on informed choices. Good counselling helps people build skills they can use in solving their problems. For example, if people learn good communication skills in dealing with their immediate families, they can also use those communication skills with their children, friends or co-workers and the society itself!

Process 2a
Counselling is a process: Counselling is a process that usually has a Beginning, Middle, and an End. There are certain things each counsellor does in each part, it can differ with each different counsellor and also according to each client. This process can take place over just a few sessions or over a longer period. Effective counselling does not necessarily take a long time. In fact, “Research shows, that some of the clients feel they have received the help they need in just 3 or 4 meetings. “Sometimes one meeting is all someone needs. The chance to explain a problem or make it clearer or talking it out, May “Relieves” anxiety or any other feeling one may have. This can be to do some studies, a job or some” Personal issue” Whether the process is short or longer, counsellors must have the necessary skills, to Truly help clients.

Counsel 31

1.The Beginning: The counsellor starts to build a “Trusting Relationship” with “The client and finds out Important Information” about the client’s problem or problems.
2. The middle: The counsellor helps the client set Goals – make decisions about what The Client wants. Once Goals are decided, the counsellor and client develop ideas about how the client can reach Those Goals. During this period, the client will try certain things. Then the counsellor and client discuss what happened and whether the method is working.

Counsel 21

3. The End: When the client feels He or She has achieved what was wanted, The Client and Counsellor prepare for “The End of Counselling”!
