Happy Christmas & Happy New Year!

Hello To All My Readers and Blogging Friends ❤

Hope Christmas time was good to those who “Celebrated Christmas” I hope those of you who celebrated Christmas, did so with joy and happiness among your family and friends, as well as with those who are needy and less fortunate than yourselves. As that is how to celebrate “God Almighty Lord Jesus Christ’s Birth” the correct way ❤

I wrote how I have lived in my little home for 8 years and now going on the 9th year. Now winter is over and December, Summer began, and now it is January, “The Dawn of A Brand New Year 2022”. It is less cold but, lot of rain. So still time for warm food and clothes. I am so “Glad and Grateful” I am able to stay comfortably in my little home. Now that “I have stabilized in My life and as, “I have Dedicated My Life for Pure Service, “Concentrating on Helping and Giving a Helping Hand to “Those who are in need ~ as times are difficult with this Health issue going on”. Life has taken a different turn, people working from home and and less travelling and moving around has changed or altered the way some jobs are done. Some need a few words of Cheering up with some Motivative words, need not be things. All depends on each person ❤

This site has been doing good and I am so Happy. I have been getting, 🎉 Congrats! I am My Path is getting noticed. 318 other websites have Liked and have started receiving updates. Stats are going up! So Saying Happy New Year to All ❤

Sri Lanka ~My Birth Country!

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

I have been writing so many posts but have not written about my “Mother Country ~ Sri Lanka, where I was “Born and Educated and Lived half of my Life” that I wanted to write about:

The national emblem of Sri Lanka[1][2][3] is used by the State of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lankan government in connection with the administration and government of the country. The current emblem has been in use since 1972 and created under the ideas and guidance of Nissanka Wijeyeratne. At the time, he was Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and Chairman of the National Emblem and Flag Design Committee.[4] The designer of the emblem was Venerable Mapalagama Wipulasara Maha Thera,[5][6] [7][8][9][10][11][12] [13] and the artwork was by S. M. Seneviratne.
The emblem features a gold lion passant, holding a sword in its right fore paw (the same lion from the flag of Sri Lanka) in the centre on a maroon background surrounded by golden petals of a Blue Lotus the national flower of the country. This is placed on top of a traditional grain vase that sprouts sheaves of rice grains that circle the border reflecting prosperity.
The crest is the Dharmachakra, symbolizing the country’s foremost place for Buddhism and just rule. Traditional Sinhalese heraldic symbols for the sun and the moon form the supporters.

The flag of Sri Lanka (Sinhala: ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජාතික කොඩිය, romanized: Śrī Laṃkāvē jāthika kodiya; Tamil: இலங்கையின் தேசியக்கொடி, romanized: Ilankaiyin teciyakkoṭi), also called the Lion Flag or Sinha Flag, consists of a golden lion holding a kastane sword in its right fore-paw in a maroon background with four gold bo leaves, one in each corner. This is bordered by gold, and to its left are two vertical stripes of equal size in green and orange, with the orange stripe closest to the lion. The lion and the maroon background represent the Sinhalese, while the saffron border and four Bo leaves represent Buddhism and the four Buddhist concepts of Mettā, Karuṇā, Muditā and Upekshā respectively. The stripes represent the two main minorities: the orange representing the Sri Lankan Tamils and the green representing Sri Lankan Muslims.
