Health habits in areas of nutrition, exercise, sleep, and safety behaviors enhance resilience.

Taking Care of Me!

Hope All of You are keeping in Good Health as much as possible. “Keeping yourself Positive and Motivated as Best as possible. I have been writing about Various ways to be able to Lead a Good Life”. Today I am writing a post about, “Taking Care of Oneself” which is a very Valuable Lesson to each one of us, in order to be able to Lead a good life”!

Work can make us feel good about ourselves and give us a sense of purpose; it’s an important way to help us to protect and improve our mental health and wellbeing. However, sometimes work and life stress can negatively affect our health. Mental health is not fixed or static. We can move back and forth along this at different times during our lives. To cope with the stresses of work and overcome life’s daily challenges, it is important we stay as mentally well as possible. This can help us better overcome challenges, build healthy relationships and work more productively. 

Stress is part of everyday life, and it is not always a problem. A little bit of stress – like the stress you feel during a job interview – can sometimes help you perform better. It is usually temporary and can help you to focus and do your best under pressure. Workplace stress is something we all experience, whether it’s in the form of heavy workloads, or just workplace culture, it can all contribute to us feeling pressured at work. Like stress in general, when workplace stress starts to become intense, comes from multiple sources, or is drawn out for long periods of time, it can increase risks to physical and mental health or cause an existing condition to making it more!

It’s important to recognize that mental health can be affected in multiple ways. While there is stress relating to our work environments that need to be managed, we must also remember to monitor the stresses in our personal life as well.  Learning to identify when you’re stressed – so that you can avoid or manage stressful situations – is an important way to stay well. Everyone is different, with different roles – at home and at work – and there is no single best approach to staying mentally well, but there are several things you can do every day to improve your wellbeing. The points in each of the four segments of this ‘Taking care of yourself and staying well’ section can all contribute to getting the balance right, so you continue to contribute to your work role and nurture your career and allow time for important people and interests in your personal life.

Now you have to know why I chose this Topic. It is because I have been Donating and Giving so much of My Money, Energy and Time, it came to a Point I felt, I was Not Getting Back hardly anything or even Gratitude and feel rather a bit sad! So, I did look at all what I have been doing in the past and, “Decided that I have to Look after myself first as No one is able to Know what is important to me, and they go about doing things that they want not so much aware of the person, that is Me!

1st October 2022. See how hard I am working for You All. It’s 6.36 in the Morning. And I just finished and how I am at home in my room. Only now I will catch up with some sleep and rest. I took of myself as there is no one to take a photo 😛

I have seen so much of needs; Water, Food, Medications, Housing, and some to study and just to survive. This is “Because of Floods, Drought, Health issues and then Completely unnecessary Fights and War sadly” And now My Healing Energies has been increasing with All the Donations I am giving, Service and Loving Kindness. Do Care and Try to Help those in need in any small way possible. It can be a small Donation, even a few coins, Time, Extra things like clothes too fitting or not needed. Volunteering. Praying will help You as well as them. The magazine below is what I buy to keep up with the new changes, to read and learn myself as well as do reference for You all when I write. This is “My collection of coins in Empty Jars” I have been collecting new coins from a long time as savings, but now even small as 5cents. Before going on with the post, I am Celebrating “The 7th Year on this Blog” and looking back I see how much I have learnt and also, all of you, “My Followers and Readers” have advanced yourselves over this period. Patience (or forbearance) is the ability to endure difficult circumstances. Patience may involve perseverance (persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success) in the face of delay; tolerance without responding in disrespect when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties, or being able to wait for a long amount of time without getting irritated or bored. Patience is the character trait of being steadfast.

Patience leads to movement and action. Patient people aren’t still. They also haven’t given up, nor are they isolated from reality. On the contrary, the power of patience allows you to save your energy for action. It lets you tap into your intuition so you can better understand when the best time to act is.

Training yourself to be more patient isn’t easy. But if you do your part to develop a more positive and trusting attitude, you’ll be able to deal with stress and set your sights on your own well-being.

It seems to have differing opinions on whether patience is a learned behavior pattern or an innate trait that some people are born with. Whatever the case may be, one thing is clear: Sometimes things make us want immediate results. That’s why it’s difficult to wait for things. People end up feeling impatient when they realize that things aren’t under their control.

A basic, yet effective strategy to regulate these emotions is to develop patience. It’s important to understand that cultivating patience isn’t an easy task. That’s because the brain becomes used to certain thought patterns. If you introduce your brain to a more calm and optimistic approach, it’ll display some resistance. However, it’s possible to cultivate patience.

Studies revealed that, in certain cultures, patience is more meaningful to people due to a very concrete psychological function: self-regulation.

  • Self-regulation is, above all, self-control. In other words, it’s the ability that allows you to manage yourself and your reactions to pressure and outside events.
  • The approaches to working on self-regulation require you to develop the following characteristics:

We have to clarify some ideas about patience. People often understand patience in the wrong way and relate it to passivity, resignation, or the simple ability to wait for something. To get a clearer picture of what it really means, let’s take a look at the pillars of patience. These are characteristics that you should start developing today:

  • Patience is freedom. It’s an emotionally liberating practice that teaches you to wait, observe, and know when to act.
  • Patience is compassion. This aspect of patience implies being respectful to yourself. You shouldn’t be hard on yourself just because you aren’t able to do things the way you expected. You have to help yourself, value yourself, and learn to be your own best ally.
  • Trust and optimism are the seeds of effective patience. Patience implies a certain amount of trust in inertia. You have to believe that things will happen at the right time on their own. Having a mind that goes faster than life itself is useless if everything important

 Patience is concentrated strength. It’s also a virtue people who have learned to manage their emotions and thoughts have. These people know that everything has its moment. Sometimes we try to rush through life when it really needs to be enjoyed and appreciated slowly. Relax, slow down, feel confident that you’re moving in the right direction, and rely on the power of patience.
