Things We Love to Do!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

I have been talking about the things we really like to do, and I came across these really wonderful picture quotes that I thought of posting them for your knowledge and enjoyment. The last few articles have been rather serious, as the subject of mental health is quite a heavy subject. So for a break I felt like writing something more light hearted and relaxing, as life is not only to live well but, to enjoy, have fun and be happy too. To be able to be really happy, is to be able to, “Do what You really Like” 🙂

There are lot of things we can do in life. There is a saying, “Just to eat, drink and pay the bills is not a way to live”. And of course all of us are doing many things to keep ourselves occupied, to keep us going. Being on the blogs itself is proof that we are out and about in learning new things and moving on in life without stagnating ❤

There are many things we can do to Relax and be Happy, but it depends on what each of us like and want to do, according to our own personality ❤

I enjoy doing a lot of activities, both indoor and outdoor. Sometimes a little too much for my age but I like to keep myself active. Today too even though it is winter and cold, I braved the weather and did my front garden. I also enjoy cooking, housework as I love to keep a neat house, reading and music my favourite topics, chakra dancing for therapy and exercises, Mandala art for relaxing the mind and well…. the list goes on 😛

What are the things you Love to do? Think. Are you doing them? At least some of them or even one? Sometimes we forget or don’t pay attention, to do the things we like to do. As I said it need not be a Hobby as such, but anything that Relaxes you, make you Happy and Calm. Doing what we like need not be big things that takes up a lot of money, but even small things, to distract us from unnecessary issues and keep us going. As it is, our life and others can help us but, only we can choose what we like to do to make us Happy, that will lead to our goals and have a Happy ending 🙂

Chakra Healing ~ Muladhara!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Hope all of you are keeping well. I see many of you have read the article on Chakra Healing!and I believe most of you found it interesting and useful. Today I am writing about, “The First of the 7th Chakras, which is the ~ Base or Root Chakra which is also called Muladhara” 🙂

Root 10

This is all about courage and is associated with security, mental stability, survival and prosperity. It is also about keeping ourselves balanced and grounded, because it’s element is Earth 🙂

Root 5

The reason to say, “Balanced and to stay grounded” is because, “We are all energy and part of mother earth and, it is important to match our energy to mother earth so that we are able to stand straight and go about in life in keeping with her energy levels. In addition to the energy centers in the palms of our hands, there are small chakras/energy centers in the soles of our feet. Earth energy is pulled up from mother earth and up our legs so that we can be balanced. You can have a clear idea from this post below, where the energy centers are 🙂

Root 6

An under active Root Chakra can be helped by eating, Red fruits and vegetables like, Red Apples, Strawberries, Raspberries and Tomatoes, Radish, Beet and Red Peppers. Anytime you feel not grounded or imbalanced the best solution is to take off your shoes and walk bare feet on grass or in the beach, or any place in nature that you can connect naturally to earth, as close as possible ❤

As you see there is medical evidence that when we walk bare feet, we are able to connect with earth, and it is very helpful in improving and curing some of our ailments!

Read up and see what is relevant with what concerns you and, you can find strength by keeping to the above solutions and also keeping to these affirmations below, to have confidence and courage ❤

We each of us are unique to each other and have different personalities and different way of dealing with life’s difficulties and challenges. The society, the world is full of good and the bad both, just like happy and sad. I too have gone through immense pain, stress and trauma and I know what pain and sadness is.  “True some of you may have gone through much more trauma, stress and grief that the normal person could not have coped”. Still from all what I have gone through, I believe as human beings we have so many ways and chances/choices to somehow find solutions of healing ourselves to some extent, so that we are able to lead a normal and peaceful life. Because by overcoming our experiences, we can in turn give our hand to another to heal, thereby further healing ourselves ❤

There is so much of satisfaction, to see healing of another from what I have gone through, and in a way, it “Justifies all the wrong and injustice I have had to face” Try to look at the positive side as much as possible. It is no fun leading a life of sadness. Life will always bring challenges to overcome and move on  to the next step. That is how life is. Push back the past and move on with strength and courage. We are all born for a unique purpose in life as I have always believed and said in my articles, as well as others also who say so. For the brave and the compassionate there will be always work to be done, to uplift and make the world a better place. A path to follow. We all have our own work, our own paths. If I can so can you ❤ Why? Because You are also a person like me and You also matter ❤ You are Worthy ❤ And You Can ❤

Life Matters. Not only my life but others life too. I regard all life valuable. I know life is full of ups and downs, But a Big but! “I somehow Try” Face challenges even with difficulties, push past and find solutions. New and positive things keep on turning up just as difficulties. We can make use of them and keep on growing. Life is all about, keep on growing and moving on isn’t it. As change is the only constant in life ❤

Well I have written after a bit of a long pause, due to a stressful time I went through. I read in another article, that we all go through a pace where we go quiet and come to a stop, from what we are doing. That, “dormancy is a regular part of nature – but at the same time we can encourage ourselves to somehow come out of it and move on without stagnating” I am Thankful to that writer who had written it as after reading it, it made me to somehow, push myself and overcome my dormant state, come back from sleeping, and continue the articles on chakra healing. Only I do not want to sound arrogant by saying I have found myself, “a far greater person than before” which is in the quote 😛

Chakra Healing!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Thank you for encouraging me by reading, commenting and following my blog. Today I am going to write about the chakras that are within us. What are chakras?

Chakra 7

I know most of you who are writing blogs and also those who are highly advanced in their wisdom are all aware that, we are all made of, “Energy” Our life force energy is called, “Prana” in Sanskrit, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. There are 7 chakras whch respond to 7 different colours, along the spinal cord. The 6th one on our forehead which is the third eye, and ***The 7th one on top of our head which is the, “crown chakra” which connects to the higher energy, and also energy gets released out from the crown chakra on top of our heads*** They respond to different energy vibrations. It is when they get blocked that we become ill. How do they get blocked?

Chakra 1
You can see how the chakras deal with what we think, say and do. As what we say and do is according to how we think from our minds. So in the present times it is understood that the root cause of most illnesses are psychosomatic – both body and mind – where the mind influences the body to create when Positive when Happy or feeling bad when stressed and negative!

Chakra 5a
You can see from the above post how each chakra has the influence over certain glands in the body. They each respond to different colour and also their own energy vibration. This is how the blocked chakras are healed, by sound, colour therapy and many other ways, which I will be writing in details in the coming articles, as to describe all 7 in one article is not possible 🙂

Chakra 7
The chakras are also connected spiritually as they are energy. This is why we need to know about religion – to know how life works. Life is a very serious thing and not to be played with, we need to learn from those who are having higher knowledge and experience more than us. We cannot play with our lives or other’s lives as, “We are all governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness which are according to, “The Laws of The Universe” No one can escape these laws as, “We are all in the Universe. There is no place to run and hide! We are all responsible for our lives as well as to the well being of, “The whole wide world”!

I have been in the process of clearing my chakras in the past, and even more intensively in the past few weeks through prayers and meditation with the hope of – coming on to a very special event 🙂 which will be revealed soon I hope as it has been a very long journey to polish up my wisdom. Praying, along with many others ways of therapeutic ways has helped me to become well and to be able to write to you all, “To give Hope and to feel you too can come up to be same as me” Why not? All human beings can achieve so much by hard work, dedication and sacrifice. So today I am able to share my knowledge and experiences to give Hope, and have the joy and satisfaction that I am contributing in my own small way to the well being of others in the society and the world 🙂

The Purpose of Our Lives !

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Thank you all for reading and appreciating what I write. Since recently there is an increase in those who follow and also more coming in from our blogging family to comment and interact, which makes it very interesting and worthwhile putting in all the time and energy in writing here 🙂
At certain times in our lives we find that we are not really happy or satisfied with what we are doing. This is doing jobs, studies or even a hobby. Usually as young children we are guided by our parents or teachers, or even we ourselves think this is what we want to do. But then as we go on, some of us find out what we have chosen to do does not give that satisfaction that we hoped for. We lose interest, and get distracted. and our minds begin to work towards finding out what other things we can do, that we really feel like doing, and we become restless. Our minds are such that the moment it gets this message, it goes into action, it begins to work endlessly looking for that something that we can do with enthusiasm and zest, that will be worthwhile doing it and brings us satisfaction. When you read about people, we see some of them ending their even very successful careers and turning into doing things completely different to what they were doing !!!

Some are born lucky. They are born with talents and gifts by birth, and do not have to go hunting for what they like to do. They find they can just draw or paint, play a musical instrument, even do maths or speak in other languages at a very young age. They grow up to be famous painters, writers and authors, musicians and scientists and so on. Some others, like even myself 🙂 have to go hunting or even find out during some stage of our lives, that this is what we are born to do. But, one common thing is that, “We are all born for some purpose in life” 🙂

Each one of us are born unique and no two people are born the same. Even identical twins have differences between them. So to each of us, “The Purpose of our life is different” It has to be isn’t it, as the world needs all kinds of people to do various kinds of jobs and activities. But its not all who recognize this. What is the reason ? It is because one has to be spiritually mature and aware what life is and what the gifts we have been given and how to make use of them 🙂

Human life is very valuable as it is man who is so advanced than all the other creatures, who can mainly think, plan, speak out and act. So we need to make use of our lives, and not just idle and waste away this valuable birth !!!

We have been given a body, mind and a soul. This is to be able to make a living, to help ourselves and then sharing or giving others too with what we have been given. Each one has been given some gift so that we can make use of it to lead a good and happy life 🙂
In life as I said before, we know that some people are born with very special talents and gifts. What ever they do it comes naturally. Of course they also have to work hard to improve and excel at them. And they themselves find out more side-lines too to improve and excel. Some take a long time and have to find or look for the gift they have been given. Whatever the time period maybe for those who keep on looking and finding out, “What the meaning of life” ultimately find out or even led to the path that were meant to take. In short to, “The Purpose of Their Life” 🙂

The Benefits of Nature !

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Hope all are well and Happy 😛 I am redoing some of the articles for the benefit of the new followers and also with more information. Actually this should have come after the article that I wrote about stress, as nature is the best medicine for stress. You might ask why, and I will say this is because we are part of mother nature. As its “Dust to dust and Ashes to ashes” So the best way to reduce stress is to reconnect with mother nature, relax and calm your mind and body 🙂

Healing 3
This is if you are comfortable walking among trees and plants especially in the woods, where its completely free of other disturbances and you can be totally immersed in the natural surroundings. When you can find a nice quiet place, you can be at peace. You hear the sounds of nature and then you hear yourself. As its in the silence that you hear your inner voice. What you really want in life. Your heart desires !

The reason we can relax best in nature is, because its full of greenery. Green is soothing to the eyes. Its a colour that balances the energies of the body and helps the mind to calm down. In fact my favourite colour is green and I love plants and nature 🙂

Most of the time the reason we get stressed is because, we are in a hurry. We try to run against time. Its true that we cannot sit and wait things to come to us, but after we have done our best, we need to have patience until things happen or change the way we want them to 🙂

I am sure almost all of you are aware, other than the vast sky above all around is the colour green as the world is usually full of trees and plants. But sadly man has been cutting down without much respect or consideration to the environment that our environment has got quite polluted, especially in countries that are over populated. Again life does balance too as from another side, some our growing and even having roof top gardens even for business purposes growing vegetables, fruits.

In the natural surroundings, the flowing of the water, the rustle of the leaves and the moving of the trees are all soothing sounds to the ears. That’s natural music that can relax and lull you to sleep peacefully 🙂

Nature 12

Nature plays a very big part in our healing. As you are able to relax naturally, stress goes away naturally too. You reconnect to where you really belong, mother nature. You inhale clean air, absorb the natural light and sounds to sooth your nerves. Walking bare foot, helps you to connect to mother earth. This is called grounding or earthing, which is also a spiritual term. By connecting with mother nature it helps to balance your energies/vibrations !!!

Healing 5

Learn to enjoy nature. Go bare foot for walks on the grass on the beach, sit and watch the clouds moving, how the light plays with the trees and leaves. Nature is one big experience by itself and most of all its free 🙂

Hope you enjoyed the walk through the nature with me. If you don’t have a garden you can go to a park or any place that is quiet and peaceful 🙂

That Thing called Stress !!!

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

Thought of writing about stress. A common topic, a word but a real challenge to manage and overcome, but possible. Definition from the I net:

“A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances”

Stress 6a
Stress is not only at work but everywhere. It can be at home, with family, friends and even doing hobbies and during many things in everyday life. We can become stressed doing thing we do not like or even doing things we like to do. The difference is we try to go beyond what we can do, “its like running against time or going against the natural order” There is a pattern a timing for everything in life. True there are times that we do have to quicken our step in order to keep up with this fast moving world, but its not with everything and all the time. In life we have choices and we need to choose correctly 🙂

Stress 4a
We need to prioritize in life on how we can manage what we have to do. We cannot do everything all the time. There are things we can and not do according to age limits. We have to accept what we can and cannot do. In short we need to learn to let go of the unnecessary and things we cannot change in life. There is always things we can do, and people whom we can have around who do not stress us. At least one or two good family or friends, who can understand and care for us. There is always jobs and life situations that we can fit into but there is always that exception. In that case we have to change the way we thing and take them as tests !!!

None of us work 24/7 and there is always some free time to relax. Also relaxing does not need a lot of money either. Of course if one can have enough money to spend, there are many expensive ways to relax. But actually relaxing is becoming one with mother nature. The closer you become to mother earth, by ways of food clothes and living the closer you become to a stress free life. It is difficult to lead a complete stress free life in this present times. But there are plenty of simple way to relax and reduce our stress levels and enjoy a balanced and healthy life 🙂

You can see from this chart many many things you can do in order to relax and relieve stress. You will also notice many things are about how to enjoy nature. We are part of The Universe hence part of Mother Earth. We need to live in ways that we are close to nature as much as possible. Even if you lead busy lives in the city, once in a way to go to the beach, rivers, parks, even a swim in a pool will bring your body closer to the natural state. Hope you read up and follow some of them as I do too 🙂

What is Gratitude ?

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

It seems many are enjoying the first article about Gratitude. As there is much to write on this topic, I thought of using more picture quotes for the following articles to make it more interesting and easier on the eye. The eyes are drawn and makes the mind absorb more so that it helps in remembering long term, when seeing writing in bold black and white, as well as quotes on pretty colourful pictures. I find it is a more relaxing way of taking the information in, as well as giving it out, (on some topics) as sometimes reading very long articles can stress the mind. I like to use more simple words, as there is a wide audience whose first language is not English, and also as an ESL Tutor I have got used to using simple language so that its is easier for all to understand. I believe this being a, “mental wellness and health site” the importance is to give out the information in a simple and relaxed way for all to take in easily. I learnt this when I first wrote the article on, “Writing” itself 🙂

Gratitude is a topic that could be written and spoken about almost endlessly and its effects are wonderful. Gratitude is a Very Important Virtue, I could say that it is the foundation of so many other virtues ❤

This is because when we become grateful suddenly we feel free, we see so many things that are working in our favour, against those that are not. It is a fascinating process which we do not really understand, “Until we start becoming Grateful and Life changes for the better for us ~ Both Mind and Body” !!!
