Hope all of you are keeping in Good Health? “You need to be with my Hands having Healing Energies for Good Health, what ever faith is”. If not I Hope and Wish All of you to receive them. With so much of Health issues and restrictions I thought it is a good time to write about the lotus flower. A flower I like very much and you all will like to read about it. A light topic and not so much of serious reading. In History, it is taken as one of the most spiritual flowers on Earth. The symbolism of the lotus flower dates back thousands of years. An important symbol in many different cultures, Lotus flowers are one of the most prominent tokens in Eastern cultures. In Hinduism and Buddhism, they’re considered as the most sacred flower. Lotus flowers are beautiful flowers that are commonly associated with purity, inner strength, tranquility, prosperity, and beauty ❤


It is often called a water lily. Their seeds can survive for thousands of years without water. They have a strong will to survive. It’s used in food, medicine, art, and so much more. The most common use for a lotus is ornamental. However, the roots are sweet and fragrant as well as rich in starch and vitamins. You can eat them raw, cooked into soups, brewed into teas, blended into salads, dried, preserved, and even powdered. Other parts of the lotus plant are also edible. They will grow in most soils and in most environments, so long as they have mud or water, and as long as they can float. In fact, they contain little air spaces in their leaves to ensure buoyancy (To be able to float. Something to float in water or other fluid) and long stems to tie them to the mud. Other uses for lotus flower roots, petals, nuts, and seeds include:
Cosmetics
Environmentally friendly packaging material
Raw material for textiles
With all its uses, the lotus isn’t seen too frequently in the western world, but that doesn’t mean you can’t grow it.

Lotus in Jewelry and Fashion

Today the lotus remains one of the most popular symbols in jewelry and fashion. It’s often used in pendants, rings, bracelets and earrings, or simply kept as a charm. The image can be stylized and represented in many ways, including as an open bloom or a closed bud.

Lotus jewelry also makes a great gift ideas:

  • As a gift to someone coming of age, it’s a reminder to stay grounded and true to oneself, while ever striving upwards.
  • For someone going through a difficult period in their life, the lotus is a symbol of overcoming adversity and hardship, while still keeping one’s spirit intact.
  • The lotus symbol is also popular in clothing. Because the symbol doesn’t belong to any one group or faith, it’s seen as a universal symbol that holds meaning to everyone.

Wrapping it up: The lotus flower is a beautiful, powerful symbol. The many meanings and religious connections of the lotus make it an excellent choice for artwork, jewelry, clothing and as a decorative motif. While the symbolism of the lotus is rooted in several religions, the symbol has transcended this to become universal and can be sported by anyone, regardless of their religious affiliation. After all, no one can lay claim to the lotus, one of the most beautiful and symbolically rich flowers of the natural world.

Hope All of You are Keeping in Good Health. This is a Topic I have felt The Need to write as I have found out “Very Important at “These Times of Health Issues”. Panic Attacks ❤

How is a panic disorder treated?

If you suffer from panic disorder, it can be helpful to know 2 things at First:

  • Don’t Think of Them as You are in life-threatening danger.
  • And keep Your strength and Hope that the symptoms will go away.

    At The same Time “Please see A Doctor “As soon as Possible”!
  • What is A Panic Attack: A Panic Attack is a response to a stressful situation, where you feel like you are losing control.

If you have a panic attack, you might have a racing heart and be flushed with sometimes Pain you chest also. You might feel sweaty, shaky, dizzy Faintish and breathless. You may not have all these and know “What You get” Whether it is mild or severe when people over work or get hurt, they get stressed. And when it comes to Healing, You have to somehow “Learn to Relax” and let Your feelings of  “Stress which is, discomfort or sadness reduced” Here are few Ideas, “That You can choose or which are Possible for Each of You” To do As Soon As Possible ❤

You need to discuss with your closest, and that is your family members, as they are the people whom you come across almost daily, and the most important people that need to know what is going on with you, as otherwise they will not know how to support you ❤

The thing is sometimes how ever much you have people around you, they may not know, nor will they really understand what you are going through. Or sometimes  it can be that, the very ones who should be “Caring and supporting you will get upset themselves and might be not able to help you. At these times see if you can find “A Friend, even an outsider who can Understand” You ❤

To manage panic disorder, you need strategies to regain some control. Techniques that can help you feel calmer include:

  • Relaxation strategies
  • Breathing exercises
  • Mindfulness
  • Meditation

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

Today I am writing about what I have been doing all this time. Well this is me, it is an older picture of me than now, but you can see me in a different way, just like a “Teacher wearing My Reading glasses” that I have not posted before 🙂

To Teach is to touch a life forever, And this is what I am trying to do in my own little way. I hope All those who have been Reading in The Past, and Those who will read in Future, you Learn and benefit (make use) from what I have been doing all these years.
teacher (also called a school teacher or, in some contexts, an educator) is a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, competence or virtue.
Informally the role of teacher may be taken on by anyone (when showing a colleague how to perform a specific task). In some countries, teaching young people of school age may be carried out in an informal setting, such as within the family (homeschooling), rather than in a formal setting such as a school or college. Some other professions may involve a significant amount of teaching (youth worker, pastor).
In most countries, formal teaching of students is usually carried out by paid professional teachers. This article focuses on those who are employed, as their main role, to teach others in a formal education context, such as at a school or other place of initial formal education or training.

A teacher’s role may vary among cultures. Teachers may provide instruction in literacy, numeracycraftsmanship or vocational trainingthe artsreligioncivics, community roles, or life skills.

A teacher’s professional duties may extend beyond formal teaching. Outside of the classroom teachers may accompany students on field trips, supervise study halls, help with the organization of school functions, and serve as supervisors for extracurricular activities. In some education systems, teachers may be responsible for student discipline.

Competences and qualities required by teachers
Teaching is a highly complex activity. This is partially because teaching is a social practice, that takes place in a specific context (time, place, culture, socio-political-economic situation etc.) and therefore is shaped by the values of that specific context. Factors that influence what is expected (or required) of teachers include history and tradition, social views about the purpose of education, accepted theories about learning.

“The meaning of Deepa is Light and, Light is Enlightening. It is also said “From Darkness To Light” Darkness means Ignorance (Not knowing) and Light is Enlightenment. Enlightening means “Clearing of the Mind, Giving out Knowledge also Wisdom 🙂


Wisdom is knowing things that help a person to live sensibly and make good decisions. Wisdom is defined differently by many cultures. Some say that wisdom is something a person learns as they grow older. Other cultures expect people to complete certain rituals in order to get wisdom. If someone has wisdom we say he is wise.
Most cultures from the past have had special people who were supposed to be wise. People asked them for advice when they had problems because they knew things that ordinary people did not know or could not know. They were often called “sages”. There are many stories in Western culture in which the owl is supposed to be a wise bird.


Duties and functions: A teacher’s role may vary among cultures. Teachers may provide instruction in literacy and numeracycraftsmanship or vocational trainingthe artsreligioncivics, community roles, or life skills. Formal teaching tasks include preparing lessons according to agreed curricula, giving lessons, and assessing pupil progress.

Competences: The competences required by a teacher are affected by the different ways in which the role is understood around the world. Broadly, there seem to be four models: 1.the teacher as manager of instruction; 2.the teacher as caring person; 3.the teacher as expert learner; 4.teacher as cultural and civic person: Teacher – Wikipedia

Enthusiasm: It has been found that teachers who showed enthusiasm towards the course materials and students can create a positive learning experience.

A definition: Teaching is the process of attending to people’s needs, experiences and feelings, so that they learn particular things, and go beyond the given. Interventions (the action of becoming intentionally involved in a difficult situation, in order to improve it or prevent it from getting worse) commonly take the form of questioning, listening, giving information, explaining, demonstrating (Showing) a skill or process, testing understanding, and facilitating (make an action or process easy or easier). Learning activities (such as note taking, discussion, assignment writing, and practice) definition of facilitating – Bing!

Attending to people’s feelings, experiences and needs: Considering what those we are supposed to be teaching need, and what might be good for them, is one of the main things. Education can be described as the ‘wise, hopeful and respectful cultivation of learning undertaken in the belief that all should have the chance to share in life’. The process of education flows from a basic orientation of respect – respect for truth, others and themselves, and the world. For teachers to be educators they must, therefore:

  • Consider people’s needs and wishes now and in the future.
  • Reflect on what might be good for all (and the world in which we live).
  • Plan their interventions accordingly.

There are a couple of issues that immediately arise from this:
1. First, how do we balance individual needs and wishes against what might be good for others? For most of us this is probably something that we should answer on a case-by-case basis – (one by one) and it is also something that is likely to be a focus for conversation and reflection in our work with people.

2. Second, what do we do when people do not see the point of learning things: for example, around grammar or safety requirements? The obvious response to this question is that we must ask and listen – they may have point. However, we also must weigh this against what we know about the significance of these things in life, and any curriculum (course of study in a school or college) or health and safety or other requirements (needs) we have a duty to meet.
In this case we have a responsibility to try to introduce them to people when the time is right, to explore their relevance (useful to what is happening) and to encourage participation (the action of taking part in something) definition of participation – Bing

Failing to attend to people’s feelings and experiences is problematic: and not just because it reveals (shows) a basic lack of respect for them. It is also pointless and counter-productive (no use) to try to explore things when people are not ready to look at them. We need to consider their feelings and look to their experiences. Both of our classroom or learning environment, and around the issues or areas we want to explore. Bringing people’s experiences around the subjects or areas we are looking to teach about into the classroom or learning situation is, thus, fundamental (principle on which something is based) to the learning process. Teaching involves creating an environment and engaging with others, so that they learn particular things. This can be anything from tying a shoe lace to appreciating the structure of a three act play. I want to highlight (show) three key elements here:1.focus, 2.knowledge and 3.The ability to engage people in learning!

This may be a bit obvious – but it is probably worth saying – teaching has to have a focus. We should be clear about we are trying to do. One of the findings that shines through research on teaching is that clear learning intentions help learners to see the point of a session or intervention, keep the process on track, and, when challenging, make a difference in what people learn. Good teaching is rather more than technique. Good teaching, ‘Comes from the identity and integrity (the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles) of the teacher’. It is the way we are experienced, our enthusiasm, our care, our knowledge, our interest in, and concern for, people that is the key to whether we are felt to be good teachers. We need to be present as people in the classroom or learning environment. Also some students are not ready for certain topics But it may be they are not aware of “The Importance” in the Future. So things like that has to be explained.

I hope all of You are keeping in Good Health and Happy. To day I am writing about being fit and Healthy. “Exercises can help you to be fit and Healthy”. There are various ways of being active. It has to be, How it suits your, “Habits, Interests, Life styles and Personality”, and also how fit you are at that time of starting. Some do sports like Tennis, Netball, Golf, Foot Ball in specific places like a Gymnasium, Sports Clubs and Sport Grounds!

Making use of  Natural surrounding like “The Sea Beach, Rivers, Parks and even Mountains, Walking, Running, Climbing, Cycling and Swimming, can be done anywhere safe and free. Some take pleasure in doing House work, Keeping the House all neat and Tidy and even Gardening and Cooking and what ever activities that needs to be done around the house. “The Universal Energy” is also called “Healing or Pranic energy”. “Prana” is a Sanskrit word that means “life force“, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. Energy healing” include Reiki, Reflexology, Kinesiology. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Pranic Healing is a highly developed and tested system of energy based a no-touch healing technique that utilizes “Prana” to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes.

You cannot see this energy but you can certainly feel it’s power. The Sun is just one example of the Universal energies which plays a significant role in our lives. The role of Universal energy in your life is defined as you give direction to the energy through your intentions and desires. Universal energy is the energy that sustains life, providing vital energy to all living systems. The whole Universe, starting from the stars in the sky to the atoms that create them, including the world we live in and our bodies, everything we see or do, is made up of the Universal Energy, at the most fundamental level

Pranic Healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes prana or ki or life energy to heal the whole physical body. In Polynesian mana, and in Hebrew it is called ruah, which means breath of life. The healer projects prana or life energy to the patient, thereby healing the patient. It is through this process that the so-called “miraculous healing” is accomplished.

Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. This is done using specific thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, that such work on the feet and hands causes a physical change to the supposedly related areas of the body.

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Reiki was founded by a Japanese Buddhist monk named Mikao Usui.

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human body movement. The Gift of Healing ~ My Grandfather!

Hope All of You are keeping well and Happy. As usual I am keeping in Good Health and moving forward doing my usual, activities. Early life and education:
Gabriyal Perera Wickramarachchi (Sinhala: ජී. පී. වික්‍රමආරච්චි; 28 September 1889 – 29 March 1975) also known as Ayurveda Chakravarti Pandit Wickramarachchi was a distinguished eminent Ceylonese Ayurvedic physician, author, linguist, senator, lawyer (notary), lecturer and a philanthropist who founded Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya which later became Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute of University of Kelaniya.

Wickramarachchi was born on 28 September 1889 in Nadungamuwa Gampaha as the third son of the family to (above) Velum Perera Wickramarachchi, an indigenous medical practitioner and his wife Sara Nona Dharmawathi. He received his primary education at Henegama Government School and secondary education at Uttharamulla Pirivena. He entered the Vidyodaya Pirivena in circa.1909 and graduated in oriental languages in 1913 with the title Rajakiya Pandit. In 1917 he sat for the notary exam and became a notary, in that same year he won a scholarship to Jamini Bhushan Ray Ashtanga Ayurvedic Vidyalaya in Calcutta. After three years of studying there he earned his degree of LAMS (Hons) in 1920 and the degree of Kaviranjan from Kaliya Ayurveda Bavan in 1921.

Pandit Wickramarachchi started his professional career at Gampaha and became the most brilliant Ayurvedic Physician at that era. He established Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya in 1929 and maintained the Vidyalaya at his own expenses and no fees were charged from the students even for lodging. Pandit Wickramarachchi started the medicine factory attached to the Vidyalaya in the 1930s (1932 or 1934).

Wickramarachchi Veda Ralahami was a well disciplined devout Buddhist and rendered his service as the Editor of Sinhala Bauddhaya from 1914 to 1917 in request of the Buddhist revival leader Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala.

His contribution for Journals, Magazines and Newspapers was enormous. He wrote five to six books on Ayurveda medicines and a route to a healthy life, even today some of his books such as “Bojana Sangrahaya”, “Lakdiva Raktha Roga Sangarahaya” are extremely popular books among the Ayurvedic medical practitioners and consider them as classics.

The Government of Ceylon in 1957 nominated him as a member of the Council of Senate, in appreciating his services. Considering his professional career, the Vidyodaya University of Ceylon granted him the Degree of Ayurveda Chakravarti in 1960 and later on he was the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Vidyodaya University. He extended his service for 46 years in the Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya until 1975.

As we know, energy can travel. “Prayer energy which also can be called Healing Energy” can travel far and wide to distant places too. As a result of continuing to “Pray, Donate, Giving and Sharing, with Dedication and Consistently” over the years, I have begun to understand more and the, “Healing Energies” have become stronger 🙂

Save Mother Earth!

To All My Dear Readers ❤

Hope all of you are keeping in Good Health and moving on progressively. The year 2020 most of it has zoomed past and only 4 months left for 2021!
Today I am writing about “The changes that are happening around where I am living”. Change is good But, Not when it is not favourable for the environment, its people and living beings. After years of searching I found a Quiet area to live, where there was bushland and protective areas for wild life and fauna.
Fauna is all of the animal life present in a particular region or time. The corresponding term for plants is flora. Flora, fauna and other forms of life such as fungi are collectively referred to as biotaZoologists and paleontologists use fauna to refer to a typical collection of animals found in a specific time or place,


It was My final move as I wanted very quiet and peaceful surroundings, so that I was able to do a lot of Reading and Writing and less physical activities, so that I could do more of academic work as an Author and a Writer. So I moved into my house in this quiet Residential secure area and happily settled down in making it my home of living in Peace!

Until very recently, suddenly there came a lot of noise of machinery, disturbing the whole of the neighbourhood, and such valuable trees being cut and disturbing not only the people But destroying the habitats and living areas of the especially the very important protected Bird sanctuary. This is a time of, most of us being adviced to stay in our homes and even people resorting to work from home because of the current very serious Health situation. The exact times that people are restricted of their movements, from morning to evening having to listen to “Rumbling noises of machinery, which is “Noise Pollution” not enough dust and smoke in the air its, “Air Pollution” making the clean Air dirty that we all do not have clean air to breath. What is Air Pollution!


Recycle!

How To Save The Environment!
To have better and improved machinery. Eco vehicles or cars that do not emit polluted air and smoke, Energy making use of “Natural Resources” as possible. Recycling as much as possible.

Environmental pollution and green energy ecology concepts. Air pollution, eco car, alternative energy, recycling, natural products, pollution of nature.

We have to Try as much as possible, “To work and to do things in our lives in ways of being clean and friendly to: “The Places around us” that is “The Environment” To leave Healthy Places for Our Future Generations”!

“These are people from Face Book. I have never met so far, but with similar interests, as I also “Love Music” I get them free, he posts them on his Face Book and also on “My Messenger” when he composes (writes a new piece)” You can “Click on it watch and listen free. They are also on You Tube Free. He likes when people listen to his playing “The Guitar”. Enjoy ❤

There are lots of little things like this below, and similar things depending where you live. Some like to walk on the Beach, watch the sea and the waves, pick flowers and put in vases at home or little ones play with them, some like to have a pet, some like to watch raining. Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits. Dancing can improve muscle tone and strength, and a great way to meet new friends if that is what you like. There are many styles of dance to choose from, each with its own attractions. Popular styles of dancing include:

Ballet – mostly performed to classical music, this dance style focuses on strength, technique and flexibility.

Ballroom dancing – this involves a number of partner-dancing styles such as the waltz, swing, foxtrot, rumba and tango.

2) Strength: You will develop more strength as dancers learn to respond to their partners moves. It includes fast turning and spinning.
3) Flexibility: Is a big part of dancing. Both men and women get Health Benefits from it. Most Ballroom Dancing classes start with stretching and warming up, as this helps to relax and dance easily. So the more you dance the more Relaxed You will become.
4) Metabolism: In just 30 minutes you can reduce 200-400 calories. This is almost the same amount if you do running or cycling.
5) Creative Outlet: Ballroom Dancing is an amazing creative activity through all these different movements. As Dancing is something that comes naturally to people.
6) Health: As its a form of movements, it can become a form of exercising and helps reduce weight and helps to have a stronger and a Healthy Heart.
