Chakra 2

Hope all of you are finding what I write useful and the two articles on End The Stigma!was an eye opener. I am continuing the Chakra Healing! This is after the 1st Chakra Healing ~ Muladhara! The 2nd Chakra, which is called Svadisthana or the Sacral Chakra!

Chakra 2a

The Sacral Chakra is the 2nd energy centre. This is located below the naval and above the pubic bone. The reason it’s said, that it is the sexual centre is because, below the naval is where the reproductive organs are, and then the large intestine and the bladder also to do with this Chakra!
The colour that influence this Chakra is Orange so, Orange fruits like, Papaya, Mangoes, Oranges, Peaches and vegetables like Carrots, Pumpkins and Sweet Potatoes support this Chakra. The Element is water so, healing happens best around places to do with water like, the sea, lakes or rivers. It can be walking, sitting or just relaxing in water or swimming, but it all depends whether you are stressed and need to relax and slow down, or move fast and energize. So you need to know, what your issue is and what to do exactly to balance this Chakra. Chakra 12
The Sacral Chakra is very much to do with Creativity, and there are many activities you can do to balance this Chakra. Art, painting and drawing brings a sense of calmness and relaxation, and also singing and dancing are excellent activities to bring this Chakra to be balanced. I will be writing separate articles, of the values of other activities as well as, music, singing and dancing later on 🙂

Chakra Healing ~ Muladhara!

Hello To My Dear Readers ❤

Chakra 1aa
Hope all of you are keeping well. I see many of you have read the article on Chakra Healing!and I believe most of you found it interesting and useful. Today I am writing about, “The First of the 7th Chakras, which is the ~ Base or Root Chakra which is also called Muladhara” 🙂

Root 10

This is all about courage and is associated with security, mental stability, survival and prosperity. It is also about keeping ourselves balanced and grounded, because it’s element is Earth 🙂

Root 5

The reason to say, “Balanced and to stay grounded” is because, “We are all energy and part of mother earth and, it is important to match our energy to mother earth so that we are able to stand straight and go about in life in keeping with her energy levels. In addition to the energy centers in the palms of our hands, there are small chakras/energy centers in the soles of our feet. Earth energy is pulled up from mother earth and up our legs so that we can be balanced. You can have a clear idea from this post below, where the energy centers are 🙂

Root 6

An under active Root Chakra can be helped by eating, Red fruits and vegetables like, Red Apples, Strawberries, Raspberries and Tomatoes, Radish, Beet and Red Peppers. Anytime you feel not grounded or imbalanced the best solution is to take off your shoes and walk bare feet on grass or in the beach, or any place in nature that you can connect naturally to earth, as close as possible ❤

Root 12
As you see there is medical evidence that when we walk bare feet, we are able to connect with earth, and it is very helpful in improving and curing some of our ailments!

Raw 3
Read up and see what is relevant with what concerns you and, you can find strength by keeping to the above solutions and also keeping to these affirmations below, to have confidence and courage ❤

Root 9
We each of us are unique to each other and have different personalities and different way of dealing with life’s difficulties and challenges. The society, the world is full of good and the bad both, just like happy and sad. I too have gone through immense pain, stress and trauma and I know what pain and sadness is.  “True some of you may have gone through much more trauma, stress and grief that the normal person could not have coped”. Still from all what I have gone through, I believe as human beings we have so many ways and chances/choices to somehow find solutions of healing ourselves to some extent, so that we are able to lead a normal and peaceful life. Because by overcoming our experiences, we can in turn give our hand to another to heal, thereby further healing ourselves ❤

There is so much of satisfaction, to see healing of another from what I have gone through, and in a way, it “Justifies all the wrong and injustice I have had to face” Try to look at the positive side as much as possible. It is no fun leading a life of sadness. Life will always bring challenges to overcome and move on  to the next step. That is how life is. Push back the past and move on with strength and courage. We are all born for a unique purpose in life as I have always believed and said in my articles, as well as others also who say so. For the brave and the compassionate there will be always work to be done, to uplift and make the world a better place. A path to follow. We all have our own work, our own paths. If I can so can you ❤ Why? Because You are also a person like me and You also matter ❤ You are Worthy ❤ And You Can ❤

Life Matters. Not only my life but others life too. I regard all life valuable. I know life is full of ups and downs, But a Big but! “I somehow Try” Face challenges even with difficulties, push past and find solutions. New and positive things keep on turning up just as difficulties. We can make use of them and keep on growing. Life is all about, keep on growing and moving on isn’t it. As change is the only constant in life ❤

Root 7
Well I have written after a bit of a long pause, due to a stressful time I went through. I read in another article, that we all go through a pace where we go quiet and come to a stop, from what we are doing. That, “dormancy is a regular part of nature – but at the same time we can encourage ourselves to somehow come out of it and move on without stagnating” I am Thankful to that writer who had written it as after reading it, it made me to somehow, push myself and overcome my dormant state, come back from sleeping, and continue the articles on chakra healing. Only I do not want to sound arrogant by saying I have found myself, “a far greater person than before” which is in the quote 😛

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Thank you for encouraging me by reading, commenting and following my blog. Today I am going to write about the chakras that are within us. What are chakras?

Chakra 8a

I know most of you who are writing blogs and also those who are highly advanced in their wisdom are all aware that, we are all made of, “Energy” Our life force energy is called, “Prana” in Sanskrit, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. There are 7 chakras whch respond to 7 different colours, along the spinal cord. The 6th one on our forehead which is the third eye, and ***The 7th one on top of our head which is the, “crown chakra” which connects to the higher energy, and also energy gets released out from the crown chakra on top of our heads*** They respond to different energy vibrations. It is when they get blocked that we become ill. How do they get blocked?

Chakra 1
You can see how the chakras deal with what we think, say and do. As what we say and do is according to how we think from our minds. So in the present times it is understood that the root cause of most illnesses are psychosomatic – both body and mind – where the mind influences the body to create or exacerbate!

Chakra 5a
You can see from the above post how each chakra has the influence over certain glands in the body. They each respond to different colour and also their own energy vibration. This is how the blocked chakras are healed, by sound, colour therapy and many other ways, which I will be writing in details in the coming articles, as to describe all 7 in one article is not possible 🙂

Chakra 7
The chakras are also connected spiritually as they are energy. This is why we need to know about religion – to know how life works. Life is a very serious thing and not to be played with, we need to learn from those who are having higher knowledge and experience more than us. We cannot play with our lives or other’s lives as, “We are all governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness which are according to, “The Laws of The Universe” No one can escape these laws as, “We are all in the Universe. There is no place to run and hide! We are all responsible for our lives as well as to the well being of, “The whole wide world”!
I have been in the process of clearing my chakras in the past, and even more intensively in the past few weeks through prayers and meditation with the hope of – coming on to a very special event 🙂 which will be revealed soon I hope as it has been a very long journey to polish up my wisdom. Praying, along with many others ways of therapeutic ways has helped me to become well and to be able to write to you all, “To give Hope and to feel you too can come up to be same as me” Why not? All human beings can achieve so much by hard work, dedication and sacrifice. So today I am able to share my knowledge and experiences to give Hope, and have the joy and satisfaction that I am contributing in my own small way to the well being of others in the society and the world 🙂

Trials and Tribulations in Healing!

Hello To My Dear Readers ❤

A year is ending and each ending is another new beginning. I hope those of you who celebrated Christmas did so, and had a good time together with family and friends, and also with less fortunate. Just like me almost all of you have gone through many tests and trials throughout this year and learnt many lessons from them. As we know all tests are challenges for us to overcome, become stronger and go to that next level in life. I believe almost all of you know that diamonds are the result of charcoal which has gone under severe pressure. So how many of you have become diamonds now? Even halfway 😛

Courage 1a

When difficulties and stress come into our lives, and we go through storms and face challenges we are not happy. At that time we don’t think this is for the good of us, but they for our learning. If life just flows by, generally we do not attempt to go that extra mile/make that extra effort to polish ourselves and become a gem 🙂

Courage 6a
There so many who have gone through extreme conditions and ended up tops in their fields or even finding new strengths to do things they have never dreamt of doing or achieving. For an example below is: Apolo Anton Ohno – an American short track speed skating competitor and an eight-time medalist in the Winter Olympics – Thanking Wikipedia ❤

Courage 2

There is something that all of you need to know, that tests and tribulations are not permanent nor do they come non stop until you die. Sure changes take place until our very last moment and that is how life is. The environment is changing and we also growing and changing with it. But once you learn what tests are and accepts them as part of life the process changes 🙂

Courage 7

There comes a time when we realize that these tests come as messages, then this is “the time the messengers lose their importance in our lives” Why? We then come to understand how life works, and that these people have come into our lives as messengers only. The moment we see these people as messengers, that personal connection breaks off, we let go of the messengers and, “only accept the message. “They become nothing but messengers and once the message has been given automatically they move away or we do”. No one has to do anything, but it is a process in life. There is a shift of energy and the tie is broken off. So we don’t look to them as specific people but messengers that life has sent, and  they don’t really bother as, “He or she said or did like this”!

Messenger 1

Life is mysterious, fascinating, complex, as well as simple. We need to face life as how it comes in a wise way, or else life becomes very complicated and there can be no way out. For this we need to develop the sixth sense, wisdom which is the third eye ultimately when wisdom develops to its full strength. The third eye is not a physical eye, but it is something that makes you to be able to feel, “see from your mind beyond what the normal eye or other senses are able to detect”. In short one becomes very sharp in sensing the surroundings and of those around you. They are better able to know and decide what is good and what works best for them in life. They don’t go with a halo round their heads, but they go about life doing what they have to in their own quiet way!

I found this wonderful quote from the I net, which says it all. Sure I also have learnt along the way, and as normal human beings we do get upset and hurt although we are aware how life works. But as time goes by and you become mature adults, becoming wise you tend to look at life in a much broader way. Saying that, “It is not all mature people who are wise and it is not all young people who are foolish – there are foolish adults as well as very wise young people too” But one thing is sure, as after we have gone through all the tests and tribulations learning our lessons in the correct way, all the hard work pays as always in anything and everything we do. What ever you have gone through in life, if you have faced them bravely and done the right thing, the results would be immeasurable. You would have grown so much and achieved so much that the end result will be like the, “Rainbow after the rains and the pot of gold at the end of it” 🙂

Freedom ~ In Healing!

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

Hope all of you are well and happy. Thank you to all those who read my articles, like and follow the blog. Most of all a very big Thank You to those who take their time to leave a comment in appreciation or saying how and what they feel about the topic. This is very valuable as, each person look at life matters in a different way and we all can learn from another’s point of view 🙂

Freedom in Healing is very important. Why? This is because we need to feel free to be ourselves to relax. Freedom is our right and no one can take it away. This is one issue that people have that they cannot say, or do the things they like which makes them stressed and unhappy. As long as we are doing the right thing, we do not have to worry about what other’s think, as what ever good or bad there will be some who will always criticize or find fault.This takes time as we need to realize this and be strong and brave to go on with our lives to live the way that is most agreeable to us 🙂

To attain freedom there are many things we can and need to do. We need to let go of those unnecessary things and people that are binding us to the past or even the present, that stresses us and disturb our lives. We need to prioritize and have what is only needed for a peaceful and happy life, as having too many things and too many people around really waste our time and energy. As we get caught up with unnecessary talk, and things that does not add any real value to life. Few good people, of family and friends who are able to understand, see your worth and value, love and care for you is all you want. Not an army of people with noisy clutter as none of us going to war 😛

What is Depression ?

Hello To All My Dear Reader 🙂

I am re-doing some of the posts and this is exactly from 2 years ago. Looking back its an amazing, the journey I have come so far, in healing myself and advancing my knowledge, working, studying and going about in life as a, “Complete normal human being” Actually I am a much stronger and knowledgeable product now as a result of all the experiences I had experienced through the journey. This is because I made a concentrated effort in becoming well, making use of all the help I could get and above all, myself working towards healing 🙂
Why I am writing like this is for those of you who are reading to have “Hope and Faith” and to Believe in becoming well in time, with medication, counselling and/or psychotherapy. It is possible to control and send the dragon back into its cave where it came from. In other words it goes into remission as it happens with so many other physical illnesses too. In becoming well, I have the opportunity in enlightening/guiding others who are in need of, I should say “Hope” to know that you also have that chance, the ability to, become well and lead a life of Happiness and Joy that you deserve ❤

Depression is being very sad long term, and known as darkness because, if you are depressed, you do not see the colours of life. Meaning your eye tend to move on to dark and gloomy things even the clothes you wear and choose, tend to be dull and grey. Just like when its a rainy day and the sky is dark and all around you is gloomy. Also you lack energy, become lethargic, lack of appetite, sleep, at the same time drowsiness, and feeling of dullness in general towards living. These are what I have experienced, if you want more information you can refer books and the I net. At the same time the moment you get well, its just like the sun has come out and you see the world in all its glory. You become energized and full of enthusiasm to get on with life. Which I am now. So I know both the darkness and the light. Strange as, “Deepa” my name given according to my birth time means, “Light” Light has two meanings. The physical light, as well as, enlightening in knowledge. So somehow years ago, according to my birth time this was the suitable name which was given by a very wise person. It’s said we are born with a plan. So was I born for exactly this purpose ? In that case, is it why I went through all these challenges and tests to overcome for a purpose ? Time will give the answers 🙂

So after more than half of my life gone what I feel now is that, all what I have gone through is, ” To be able to gain that knowledge, so that I can enlighten others on this topic. It’s strange how life has taken a turn as what I wanted to do was Botany, as I loved plants. I never wanted to do medicine or to be a doctor, but now I am studying psychology. If we are all born for some specific purpose and it seems this is my purpose, my mission. Aren’t I glad that I have got such a mission in my hands 🙂

People go through hard times in their lives due to many different reasons. Being physically ill, problems in jobs, professions, lack of money and/or family/children problems. And sometimes all or many of these come together. People looking from outside, do not see what is going in others personal lives, and can discourage and hurt others with no reason. Someone who is going through a very bad time, might completely go off track, by some insensitive and ignorant people’s attitude and, pushing them further into darkness and gloom. Feeling desperate and not knowing what to do they might even end their lives. So do think before you say or do anything harsh without knowing what others are going through. These are the times that the human mind cannot take it and it breaks. So always be aware, just because someone is well dressed and smiling there can be lot going on unseen within !!!

 

Saying broken is that your mind becomes ill just like the body. The soul, your spirit can be dampened, and it becomes too much for the mind and it begins to give up. Then the body also goes down with it, as the mind is also in the physical self, in short in the head somewhere !!!
Its not only people who always break you, mother nature also does that with her floods, volcanoes and many other tricks up her sleeves. And for those who ask why only pictures of ladies, here are some for the gentlemen too 🙂

 

Not ten it can be hundreds of times, and some goes on for whole of their life time. This is why I am writing that it is possible for most of you to bring it down, keep it under control, if not fully to some extent, enough to lead a stress free life. If after 15 long years I overcome depression. So can you ❤

 

This is what happens to those who are over loaded with stress. Your head is over working trying to find solutions. Its mostly stress that you get headaches and most of the other illnesses. Its like a chess game inside your head, trying to figure out the best ways to overcome the problems and solve the difficult situations. The other person becomes too tough you lose the game !!!

Please do not look down upon people who have mental issues. Being mentally ill is Not being mad. Through stress, untold grief, sadness and abuse which often is not their fault many become confused and ill. This labeling and looking down upon people is wrong. All people have a right to lead a life of peace and happiness. “It is this stigma that is preventing a lot of people going for help to the doctor that is making them more ill. Mental illnesses are rising at an alarming rate. According to WHO by 2030 Depression will be the biggest cause of health burden in the world. “RIGHT NOW ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD , ONE PERSON TAKES THEIR OWN LIFE EVERY 30 SECONDS” and it is going up. I am sure glad I am on the, RIGHT SIDE OF LIFE, ENCOURAGING and SUPPORTING PEOPLE TO LIVE HEALTHY and HAPPY, and NOT DIE !!!

 

Be Brave and seek out help. Don’t let anything spoil your life. You have the right to lead a good life ❤

 

Once we open up, we help ourselves to feel good. To love and care for ourselves. As none of us are born perfect. Sometimes its not seen why somethings happened to us. No one makes a mistake or takes a wrong turn if they know that it will be a disaster. Sometimes it can be like putting out your hand out to survive to the closest thing, a person, when you are drowning in the river of stress. As our fist instinct is to survive this is how we are born. You are born to live and live to tell your story to others to lift them up too 🙂

 

Its not only our problems and struggles, our successes and winnings also can be turned into stories to help others. I am touching on the good side too. As so many harp on the bad side and do not see the good they have. This is a result of my being positive Now and not being depressed. Now I can look from both sides of life 🙂
Those who have gone through any physical or mental pain themselves can understand another’s pain or hardships better. Someone who never had a headache would find it hard to understand another’s pain in the head. But one doesn’t have to be, all that broken to understand another’s feelings. As all human beings have feelings, are intelligent and have a brain to think and analyse what is right and wrong. Each and everyone goes through some kind of experience, at some stage of their lives. Sometimes back when I posted this in my group, someone commented this is because, they feel the pinch !!!
Well I am a survivor. I did fight to win over depression. We all have to, sort of fight over lot of things to achieve what we want in life. I feel quite good that in spite of being named the light,  I fell into darkness and managed to come out. I fought the darkness and became what I am today. Back to myself 🙂
But we don’t go through all the experiences ourselves in one life. How I became well is from a combination of others experiences, my knowledge from very young days even before I got depressed has helped me. Even from books, magazines and other sources I come across!

That Thing called Stress !!!

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

Thought of writing about stress. A common topic, a word but a real challenge to manage and overcome, but possible. Definition from the I net:

“A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances”

Stress 6a
Stress is not only at work but everywhere. It can be at home, with family, friends and even doing hobbies and during many things in everyday life. We can become stressed doing thing we do not like or even doing things we like to do. The difference is we try to go beyond what we can do, “its like running against time or going against the natural order” There is a pattern a timing for everything in life. True there are times that we do have to quicken our step in order to keep up with this fast moving world, but its not with everything and all the time. In life we have choices and we need to choose correctly 🙂

Stress 4a
We need to prioritize in life on how we can manage what we have to do. We cannot do everything all the time. There are things we can and not do according to age limits. We have to accept what we can and cannot do. In short we need to learn to let go of the unnecessary and things we cannot change in life. There is always things we can do, and people whom we can have around who do not stress us. At least one or two good family or friends, who can understand and care for us. There is always jobs and life situations that we can fit into but there is always that exception. In that case we have to change the way we thing and take them as tests !!!

Stress 5a

None of us work 24/7 and there is always some free time to relax. Also relaxing does not need a lot of money either. Of course if one can have enough money to spend, there are many expensive ways to relax. But actually relaxing is becoming one with mother nature. The closer you become to mother earth, by ways of food clothes and living the closer you become to a stress free life. It is difficult to lead a complete stress free life in this present times. But there are plenty of simple way to relax and reduce our stress levels and enjoy a balanced and healthy life 🙂

You can see from this chart many many things you can do in order to relax and relieve stress. You will also notice many things are about how to enjoy nature. We are part of The Universe hence part of Mother Earth. We need to live in ways that we are close to nature as much as possible. Even if you lead busy lives in the city, once in a way to go to the beach, rivers, parks, even a swim in a pool will bring your body closer to the natural state. Hope you read up and follow some of them as I do too 🙂
