Healing ~ Basic Steps!

I have written this article at the very beginning in, October 2015 and I see not many have read. Also there are requests to write the basic steps in detail. So I am writing it again with, “New experiences and knowledge I have gained over a a period of over 3 years” as today is: 14th February 2019 🙂

Heal 10

This is a short article explaining about Trauma. When you experience deep sadness or grief, it is referred as Trauma. (a deeply distressing or disturbing experience) It can be physical too, then its to do with the body. (Psychological trauma is a type of damage to the mind that occurs as a result of a severely distressing event. Trauma is often the result of an overwhelming amount of stress that exceeds one’s ability to cope, or integrate the emotions involved with that experience. A traumatic event involves one’s experience, or repeating events of being overwhelmed that can be precipitated in weeks, years, or even decades as the person struggles to cope with the immediate circumstances, eventually leading to serious, long-term negative consequences ~ Courtesy Wikipedia!

Why people get hurt or sad is, when they are criticized, put down, controlled or blamed continuously, and when they feel they don’t deserve it and it’s wrong and unfair. If they are guilty of any wrong doings, then deep in their hearts they know they have done it and they do deserve some of it. But when they feel they don’t deserve it, the insults, the harsh Words Words and Words ! affects one’s hearts and makes wounds that will be difficult and take a long time to heal!

Heal 17
These are what stays on collecting inside you, weighing you down, making you feel miserable and low. So when too many things happen all at once, and then the last thing can be like what is said, ” The last straw that breaks the Camel’s back” that will finally push you over, which will lead to break downs. Break downs doesn’t happen if there is support, love and care around. But the thing is sometimes how ever much you have people around you, they may not know, nor will some really understand as to what you are going through. As usually it is difficult for so many to understand unless, “They have experienced themselves so sometimes sadly  it can be that, “The very ones who should be “Caring and supporting you, will be the ones who will (That Thing called Stress !!!) stress and be unhelpful for you to heal”!

Counsel 2a
Its difficult to tell what to do in this situations as for each person the circumstances are different, as well as for each person the strength of the mind also is different. So anytime you do feel overly stressed and unable to handle them alone, and/or, if your low moods do not go away, please do go and see a doctor and get help. In some countries You are able to go to psychiatrist itself. In some countries, “You have to first go to a GP. Usually the method is to go to a GP “(general practitioner) ~ In the medical profession, a general practitioner (GP) is a medical doctor who treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health education to patients” ~ Courtesy of the I net!

Heal 20
As that will avoid a long and unnecessary suffering to you and, to so many people, who depend on you too sometimes in your family. Above all your life is valuable and your health is a very important part of it. And you alone have to know where to draw the line and safe guard and take care of yourself. Its your life and you are the caretaker of Yourself no one else 🙂

Trauma 3
Whether it is mild or severe, pain is pain in different amounts. And when it comes to Healing from ~ Depression !, we have to let our feelings of stress out, meaning speak out and discuss with the counselors, doctors and therapists or who ever you are dealing with. Also you need to discuss with your closest, and that is your family members, as they are the people whom you come across almost daily, and the most important people that need to know what is going on with you, as otherwise they will not know how to support you ❤ ~ Healing ~ Trauma !

I know sometimes how hard it is when you cannot get over the low mood. It seems to go on, but know that, “You can control enough and get over with, “Counselling and Psychotherapy ! and Medication”. I am writing like this is because “I have overcome Depression and Mood Disorder” over time with all this, and working on myself, with “Dedication over time with Patience”. It may seem a hard and difficult task when you feel down, but TRUST me if I have become better, so “Can You” But You need to “Be Strong and Kind and Patient with Yourself” You may or may not have help from your family and friends to support you, but understand again, “That those who have not gone through, are unable to fully understand how and what You feel, and You might feel not supported, “But you can try and explain yourself or even much better, “To get your doctor or your counsellor to explain to them. In the mean time have “Faith and Patience in Yourself ❤

Heal 9
At the times You feel well enough, try and read self help books, or go through the Online Psychological Therapy ! I net to find answers and advice too from good sites. At times try to relax and even take a nap, if you don’t feel like doing anything, it may be you need to rest so give in and try to sleep. You will relax and feel better. I know there will be those who advice You with all good intentions, like doing a (Things We Love to Do!) Hobby. But When we cannot even think straight or eat properly, “How can one do a Hobby? You can if you already have one and/or feel up to it. “The important thing is to find something that you will, “Really Like to Do” ❤

Stress 1
It can be drawing, painting, even housework or cooking your favourite dish, or anything that will distract you and make you, “Look forward in Doing”. Or it can be simple as, (We Each have Our Own Path!)” Just sitting and looking out of the window at the sky to see how the clouds go by and the birds fly or how the moon comes up and the stars”. Know and follow what works best for You ❤

Heal 26a
I have now realized that with medical help of counselling and medication, and on our part if we work hard on becoming well with, “Dedication, Persistence and Perseverance”, We can make progress in getting over most of the effects of trauma and, “Ultimately learn to put back the past and lead a happy life”. Why don’t you try it too ❤ I wish you so and have Strength and Patience to do so ❤

The Power of Hand Writing!

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Today I thought of  Writing about the value of writing by hand. As in this increasing digital age, so many have, and are turning to type and swipe, on the computers, laptops, I pads and phones than using pencils or pens to write by hand. In my case I do use all that but, have always liked to write by pens and pencils too from my school days, and still continue to write using my various pens to write. How many of you still still love Writing by hand?

A study in psychological science has been found that students who take down notes by hand, rather than by laptops are better able to remember and grasp the subject. This is because when we are Writing by hand we tend to concentrate and write slowly, be more selective, rephrase and summarise, and choose the most important information, to include in the notes. This makes the brain works more efficiently and we are able to understand the content clearly and memorize better 🙂

The studies with small kindergarten children also showed that, those who learnt the alphabet by Writing exercises, learnt it faster and better than those learning from the key board system. On the whole children both young and old, acquired a better understanding of the language, and were better able to express more ideas with a multitude of  Words !

Writing  journaling are excellent ways for understanding and recovering from stress and Trauma ! In my opinion, the best way to put the mind in order is writing out what is going on in the mind. Typing out also yes but, “Writing  by hand puts in that extra effort and forces out something from inside of you, that cannot really happen from typing” As the hand yields to the emotions inside of you, and helps better to let go or organize your mind in a much better way ❤W 4aaEvidence from new research show the psychological benefits of handwriting. How those who wrote by hand, were more likely to find relief from anxiety, fear and worry than those tapping on a computer. It also shows that jotting down our thoughts and feelings not only help people understand and recover from stress and Healing ~ Trauma ! but also help those with chronic conditions such as asthma and arthritis, those recovering from surgery and even those battling terminal or life-threatening diseases !

The fact that some who rarely or never use handwriting as an outlet to express themselves, is a sad fact as journaling is so helpful in clarifying one’s thoughts!

Writing by hand is a very personal and creative experience. I know as I am very fond of writing by hand. It helps one to be more aware of what is going on in the mind and helps the mind to stay in balance, healthy and happy. So why don’t you try too? If by now if you have not tried 😛

When We Forget Our Blessings!

Deepa 1Hello To My Dear Readers ❤

This may not apply to everyone, but I have realized, that sometimes we are so focused on running behind things, or find life is being difficult, we forget about all the things and blessings we already have, and then usually we are given a reminder or a message in someway. I was told this by my mother, “That when you tell your challenges to someone, they will tell their story, and you will wonder what ~ “you are complaining about”! So this has been happening to me sometimes, and since recently too, that has made me to write this article!

Although extreme challenges are not faced by each and everyone, I know there are some more than others, who has and are going through, very hard times due to problems in health, relationships and finances or all of them at once, that somehow it seems, life is not fair to them. I don’t know how exactly to explain this but, in life in every situation, “There are exceptions”. But from my experiences I can tell that, although initially it seems like that, later on when we look back, all that make sense. Those who face and overcome the toughest battles end up the strongest souls. So do, “Hold on to your Faith and be Patient, until things move in your favour at the correct time ❤

So I am one of these people who have gone through, very tough battles and know what life’s difficulties are. As a compassionate human being, I find it very difficult to see the innocent and those without a voice go through pain and unnecessary suffering, and have always had this great need to, “Heal and bring Peace and Happiness to mankind and animals alike” This is a long held dream and I have worked very hard for a long time, towards this cause with sheer Dedication and Sacrifice. And it is such a great feeling of relief to see that, “My Dream is being realized now” 🙂

As “We are all born unique to each other” the challenges that we face are not the same, and hence our paths or our mission in life also differs according to our uniqueness. In the same way, our Blessings also come in different ways. The important thing we need to remember is that, “We are All Blessed in some way, and to be Aware of it Always” ❤

How do you feel about the Blessings in your life? Do you think you are Blessed or sometimes do you forget or lose Faith like me? As we are all human beings, we are not perfect and here and there when things happen to upset us, we do wonder, question about the process of life. When this happens something I do is to turn to prayer. The Power of Prayers! is my Strength, Medicine for all ailments, and answers to all my questions. Let me know your views too. Good Things Don’t Come Easy!

Hope all of you are keeping well and Happy. Last article I wrote about Things We Love to Do! Now here I am writing that, “All Good Things don’t come that easily ~ meaning if we want a good and successful life, we need to work hard towards them. For this we need to accept change and also to be ready to move out of our comfort zone ❤

ZZZ 1a
Moving out of our comfort zone is like, taking an adventure. If we really want to better our lives, we need to take it as a positive experience. We need to, know our passion, our dreams and follow our instincts to achieve our goals. This results in taking trips to unknown destinations. Taking risks and travelling on paths not gone before. But it all depends on your attitude ❤

On our journey, to find new and better quality of life, we will observe and learn many new things, from seeing new places and meeting many new people. Life is beautiful but it can be challenging and difficult too. All of that is, for us to face our difficulties overcome them and go to the next level. Very often if we don’t get pushed we don’t move. In moving on, we need to keep our minds open for things of beauty and wonder 🙂

Keeping our minds open for new and better things, brings us new and a better life. Things can change any time in life, so we need to be Patient as, we are not aware what the next moment will bring us. Although we have to work hard, and do work hard, the opportunities and new doors that open, will only open at the correct time. Until such time, we have to keep going and Not give up. We need to keep our Faith and Trust in the process of Life ❤

Chakra Healing!

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Thank you for encouraging me by reading, commenting and following my blog. Today I am going to write about the chakras that are within us. What are chakras?

Chakra 7

 

I know most of you who are writing blogs and also those who are highly advanced in their wisdom are all aware that, we are all made of, “Energy” Our life force energy is called, “Prana” in Sanskrit, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. There are 7 chakras whch respond to 7 different colours, along the spinal cord. The 6th one on our forehead which is the third eye, and ***The 7th one on top of our head which is the, “crown chakra” which connects to the higher energy, and also energy gets released out from the crown chakra on top of our heads*** They respond to different energy vibrations. It is when they get blocked that we become ill. How do they get blocked?

Chakra 1
You can see how the chakras deal with what we think, say and do. As what we say and do is according to how we think from our minds. So in the present times it is understood that the root cause of most illnesses are psychosomatic – both body and mind – where the mind influences the body to create when Positive when Happy or feeling bad when stressed and negative!

Chakra 5a
You can see from the above post how each chakra has the influence over certain glands in the body. They each respond to different colour and also their own energy vibration. This is how the blocked chakras are healed, by sound, colour therapy and many other ways, which I will be writing in details in the coming articles, as to describe all 7 in one article is not possible 🙂

Chakra 7
The chakras are also connected spiritually as they are energy. This is why we need to know about religion – to know how life works. Life is a very serious thing and not to be played with, we need to learn from those who are having higher knowledge and experience more than us. We cannot play with our lives or other’s lives as, “We are all governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness which are according to, “The Laws of The Universe” No one can escape these laws as, “We are all in the Universe. There is no place to run and hide! We are all responsible for our lives as well as to the well being of, “The whole wide world”!

I have been in the process of clearing my chakras in the past, and even more intensively in the past few weeks through prayers and meditation with the hope of – coming on to a very special event 🙂 which will be revealed soon I hope as it has been a very long journey to polish up my wisdom. Praying, along with many others ways of therapeutic ways has helped me to become well and to be able to write to you all, “To give Hope and to feel you too can come up to be same as me” Why not? All human beings can achieve so much by hard work, dedication and sacrifice. So today I am able to share my knowledge and experiences to give Hope, and have the joy and satisfaction that I am contributing in my own small way to the well being of others in the society and the world 🙂

Trials and Tribulations in Healing!

Hello To My Dear Readers ❤

A year is ending and each ending is another new beginning. I hope those of you who celebrated Christmas did so, and had a good time together with family and friends, and also with less fortunate. Just like me almost all of you have gone through many tests and trials throughout this year and learnt many lessons from them. As we know all tests are challenges for us to overcome, become stronger and go to that next level in life. I believe almost all of you know that diamonds are the result of charcoal which has gone under severe pressure. So how many of you have become diamonds now? Even halfway 😛

Courage 1a

When difficulties and stress come into our lives, and we go through storms and face challenges we are not happy. At that time we don’t think this is for the good of us, but they for our learning. If life just flows by, generally we do not attempt to go that extra mile/make that extra effort to polish ourselves and become a gem 🙂

Courage 6a
There so many who have gone through extreme conditions and ended up tops in their fields or even finding new strengths to do things they have never dreamt of doing or achieving. For an example below is: Apolo Anton Ohno – an American short track speed skating competitor and an eight-time medalist in the Winter Olympics – Thanking Wikipedia ❤

Courage 2

There is something that all of you need to know, that tests and tribulations are not permanent nor do they come non stop until you die. Sure changes take place until our very last moment and that is how life is. The environment is changing and we also growing and changing with it. But once you learn what tests are and accepts them as part of life the process changes 🙂

Courage 7

There comes a time when we realize that these tests come as messages, then this is “the time the messengers lose their importance in our lives” Why? We then come to understand how life works, and that these people have come into our lives as messengers only. The moment we see these people as messengers, that personal connection breaks off, we let go of the messengers and, “only accept the message. “They become nothing but messengers and once the message has been given automatically they move away or we do”. No one has to do anything, but it is a process in life. There is a shift of energy and the tie is broken off. So we don’t look to them as specific people but messengers that life has sent, and  they don’t really bother as, “He or she said or did like this”!

Messenger 1

Life is mysterious, fascinating, complex, as well as simple. We need to face life as how it comes in a wise way, or else life becomes very complicated and there can be no way out. For this we need to develop the sixth sense, wisdom which is the third eye ultimately when wisdom develops to its full strength. The third eye is not a physical eye, but it is something that makes you to be able to feel, “see from your mind beyond what the normal eye or other senses are able to detect”. In short one becomes very sharp in sensing the surroundings and of those around you. They are better able to know and decide what is good and what works best for them in life. They don’t go with a halo round their heads, but they go about life doing what they have to in their own quiet way!

I found this wonderful quote from the I net, which says it all. Sure I also have learnt along the way, and as normal human beings we do get upset and hurt although we are aware how life works. But as time goes by and you become mature adults, becoming wise you tend to look at life in a much broader way. Saying that, “It is not all mature people who are wise and it is not all young people who are foolish – there are foolish adults as well as very wise young people too” But one thing is sure, as after we have gone through all the tests and tribulations learning our lessons in the correct way, all the hard work pays as always in anything and everything we do. What ever you have gone through in life, if you have faced them bravely and done the right thing, the results would be immeasurable. You would have grown so much and achieved so much that the end result will be like the, “Rainbow after the rains and the pot of gold at the end of it” 🙂

Freedom ~ In Healing!

Hope all of you are well and happy. Thank you to all those who read my articles, like and follow the blog. Most of all a very big Thank You to those who take their time to leave a comment in appreciation or saying how and what they feel about the topic. This is very valuable as, each person look at life matters in a different way and we all can learn from another’s point of view 🙂

Freedom in Healing is very important. Why? This is because we need to feel free to be ourselves to relax. Freedom is our right and no one can take it away. This is one issue that people have that they cannot say, or do the things they like which makes them stressed and unhappy. As long as we are doing the right thing, we do not have to worry about what other’s think, as what ever good or bad there will be some who will always criticize or find fault.This takes time as we need to realize this and be strong and brave to go on with our lives to live the way that is most agreeable to us 🙂

To attain freedom there are many things we can and need to do. We need to let go of those unnecessary things and people that are binding us to the past or even the present, that stresses us and disturb our lives. We need to prioritize and have what is only needed for a peaceful and happy life, as having too many things and too many people around really waste our time and energy. As we get caught up with unnecessary talk, and things that does not add any real value to life. Few good people, of family and friends who are able to understand, see your worth and value, love and care for you is all you want. Not an army of people with noisy clutter as none of us going to war 😛
