Freedom in Healing is very important. Why? This is because we need to feel free to be ourselves to relax. Freedom is our right and no one can take it away. This is one issue that people have that they cannot say, or do the things they like which makes them stressed and unhappy. As long as we are doing the right thing, we do not have to worry about what other’s think, as what ever good or bad there will be some who will always criticize or find fault.This takes time as we need to realize this and be strong and brave to go on with our lives to live the way that is most agreeable to us 🙂

To attain freedom there are many things we can and need to do. We need to let go of those unnecessary things and people that are binding us to the past or even the present, that stresses us and disturb our lives. We need to prioritize and have what is only needed for a peaceful and happy life, as having too many things and too many people around really waste our time and energy. As we get caught up with unnecessary talk, and things that does not add any real value to life. Few good people, of family and friends who are able to understand, see your worth and value, love and care for you is all you want. Not an army of people with noisy clutter as none of us going to war 😛

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

This is about what happens when we come to an end of one chapter of our journey of becoming well. When we come to a certain ending of our healing, we get the need to clear up and wrap up any unfinished tasks. These can be when others have taken our responsibilities or duties, when we have not been well enough to do ourselves. No one exactly need to tell us, but this is a sign that one has come back to normal state of mind, and it automatically sets in!
It is also about clearing any misunderstanding of us been avoiding or keeping away, from some people or places. It can also be that during the times of confusion, we may have acted or reacted which may have hurt or offended some. This happens mainly with those who have issues with mood disorder. Very often these are not serious offenses, but it is mainly when we have been unwell, and have not been active in mixing up with people we need to clear up certain issues before getting back in to life again 🙂
In short we are taking control of our lives again to carry on with what we need to do, in our own time and in our own ways. This is very important as it is only when we are able to lead our lives independently, that our minds become active and we get energised and our brains begin to function properly that in turn helps the process of healing to improve even more. When you begin to feel better, try and start doing the little things and then you are able to move on to the bigger tasks gradually. As at some time we all need to get back on to living the normal life and the quicker we get into it the better 🙂

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

Hope all of you are well. I have not been here for a while, as I have been busy writing some other articles. So I am sorry I have not been visiting some of your blogs too. I am re-writing this article as so many have missed the old articles. We are all aware in life everyday is not the same. We keep on changing and moving ahead. Even if we do not want to change, we do grow older by the day and changes happen physically and mentally, as well as the whole environment changes around us. That is the norm of life. With that there comes challenges over and over again for us to learn how to face and overcome them, to become stronger and wiser to move on in life to the next level 🙂

Challenge 3

Once you have overcome a challenge or challenges, you need to learn from them and organize yourself, to make sure the same things do not cause problems again. For this you need to, “Let Go” of the things and people that do not work for you anymore. Letting go usually, does not mean taking a bag and going away as so many posts show. As in life you cannot leave those who are dependent on you and walk off just like that. What it means mostly is, “Letting go from the Mind” and changing and adjusting to those people and situations that you have to live in, to fit in better 🙂

Life 1

Letting Go is a process. As in life from the moment we are born we are Letting Go isn’t it? First of all we let go of the womb that we grew for 9 months and entered the, seems like harsh world with a bang. From that time on wards, everything that we were born with, our hair, skin keeps on shedding and being renewed without our knowledge. Letting go is a, “Natural Process for us to, “Let Go” of the unwanted/old and move on to new that works for us” Its just like discarding our clothes that become too small for us as we grow on to our next size. Not only us it happens to animals too. Like reptiles, they too shed their whole length of outer skin from time to time. The eagle sheds all its feathers and even the beak after 40 years to renews it self for another 30 years. Then why is this, Letting Go become such a painful process ?

Let Go 1

This is when, “We are Forced to Let Go”, “Before we are ready” Just like pulling our hair or teeth before time. In Nature, there is always, a Time for everything. When we have to, or Forced to give up anything or people before we are ready only, it becomes painful” So there is always a, “Time to Let Go” if not it is difficult and painful. But sometimes so happens in life, whether we like or not we do have to let go as we need to move on and holding on doesn’t help. And once you accept life becomes much easier and pleasant. As you have less people and things to trouble you unnecessarily!!!

Let Go 2

Then how to make life a little easier for us, living in this complicated world? Well the most important word comes in, which is, “To be prepared to Let Go” when we know our work is done, and we are no more needed. Hard? Yes, but it is reality. When people have outgrown you, means they have changed their vibrations, hence their personality and their whole energy system. So they no longer able to sometimes live under the same roof with the same people, doing the same things like they used to. All that belongs to another era. Which is called by the name,”The Past” Letting Go if it is for our own good is difficult, but sometimes we have to, and once we do the relief is great. By letting go of the past you make room for the new to come in your life that will ultimately lead you to new places and people whom you fit in better and belong with, to lead a much happier, satisfying and fulfilled life 🙂

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

To give you an update of my life since I finally came to settle down here is Aussie. I completed eight years yesterday and looking back I have come a very long way. It is Not talking big but, letting you know how much I have achieved, so that those of you who are reading, get inspired and get Hope, that you too can overcome by working towards getting well. My main reason for doing this blog 🙂
My depression has gone into remission, and have been stable for almost 4 years now. Its quite a feat as I was under it for quite a long time, as long as almost 15 years. I have worked in TAFE as an ESL volunteer tutor for almost 5 years during that period, done some short courses and now continuing with the Diploma in Psychology. I have also completed 2 years writing in here, and today I was looking at the past articles and saw how much my writing has improved, along with my mood as well 🙂
Journaling or writing in anyway is very helpful as, it helps to put our minds in order. When we write we are able to understand so many things that are working in our minds that we were not aware !!!
Journaling is: writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly. And if you struggle with stress, depression, or anxiety, keeping a journal can help you gain control of your emotions and improve your mental health ~ The I net.
Prayers or and meditation also helps in relaxation and to calm the mind, as well as gaining  wisdom which is the most important thing, to understand the process of life more clearly !!!
“Life works in a pattern we all know that the seasons come one after the other every year the same pattern, everyday the sun comes up in the morning and goes down in the evening and so on. So as we are all part of “The Universe”, and all of us fall under the same laws. Ad once we have done everything possible ~ we need to have Patience for them to work in its own way ~ In the Natural Order” We can also describe it as, “Going with the flow of life” 🙂

Actually it is through intense prayers and meditation that has brought me to this  stage of maturity, where I have come to understand many things in life and moved on to a complete different wave length from where I have been ~ which is the main reason for my almost complete recovery. It is something that all can achieve as it is a matter of changing one’s vibrations or energy, but “this has to be done with, great dedication sacrifice and persistence, long term”. As changing one’s energy or vibrations is a slow process and happens in a very delicate way, along with acts of offering merit to those who guide and protect you along the way. This is the value of the human being as we have choices and able to know and learn how to become well or get over difficulties !!!

Many do not think or understand this although they have studied science. Well even I have studied physics, but that was when I was very young and I didn’t know all this at that age. Everyone knows that in any religion, prayers are being said to heal the sick, so prayers are all good vibrations, which somehow with faith helps that person to feel better or sometimes completely recover. I have these experiences but it’s only very few who knows or believe that. As it is a, “Very Long process which I have done over time as I said before, with great dedication and sacrifice” One has to go over tests and tribulations time and time again until sometimes you are exhausted. At this stage of my life, knowing who I am, and what I have become is enough for me. I do not have that need to prove it to anyone. For those of you who believe in energy, This will be in my blog, spreading Good Energy constantly, for Good Health, Happiness and Prosperity. Just click anytime and take it in with a Good Heart ~ Loving Kindness. Concentrate on it and feel or imagine positive energy flowing into you, cleansing you of the negativity, Healing and bringing you Peace and Happiness ❤

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

Hope all of you are enjoy reading what I write, and learning something from them too. This is an important topic that I overlooked in writing regarding healing, because when we need to heal we need to let go of all the past hurts and pains as holding on to those negative feelings blocks new and Positive feelings coming into our minds !!!

Forgive 8

In life we all get hurt in many situations. This can be from those whom we love and care or even complete strangers. Whoever it may be, as ordinary human beings if we become subject to unkindness, cruelty or injustice we do get angry, hurt or upset. In these times some will get highly angry, offended or annoyed in return, and there can be strong arguments and clashes, and they will completely keep away or cut them out of their lives. Some will get hurt but will not respond, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect them. So basically there two ways people react to other people’s hurtful words or deeds. Just the same there are two ways to respond to these situations too 🙂

Forgive 5
Sometimes people intentionally do things to spoil our lives, that we are do not detect at that time. They think that we are not aware of the damage they are doing or have done. These are not relevant only to those with mental issues but for everyone. These are the deep wounds some people cause on others. And they can be the very acts, that if they happens continuously for another person to become mentally ill. Ultimately, “The truth surfaces like oil in the water” and those who do mischief get exposed, and they are unable to face the society the world, but the damage has been done. I know for so many these are things they have faced in life and forgiveness is a major issue. Which do you choose ? Do we want to be sad or happy ? Which gives us more peace of mind ? As our ultimate goal in life is to be at peace with ourselves. The day we close our eyes finally we need to be at peace, for our soul to rest in peace. Or else the soul will be restlessly wondering for a very long time !!!

“We can hold on to our anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge ~ Or we can embrace forgiveness let go and move on with our lives” We all have a Choice 🙂

What I have realised is, “To truly Forgive one has to be really mature and wise” Because it is through the eyes of wisdom you see who people are, “That we are all one” Those who harm and hurt others, “Do not have this wisdom” They are not aware that we are all part of The Universe. That when we hurt one person there is a ripple effect just like when we do something good”. Also, “What goes around comes around” Be it according to Buddhism, Christianity or any other religion it is said that by harming others you harm yourself. If someone really understands this will they do it? I don’t think so. They are in the dark. They are ignorant. This is the time it is said, “Ignorance is evil” So only the “Wise and the mature people understand this” !!!

It is the weak people who holds grudges. As sometimes just like those who do cruel acts purposely, there are times people do things unaware they have given others pain. In life there can be so many complicated situations that sometimes things happen so quickly even before you know and some have got offended or angry without knowing the real reasons. This is why human beings have a brain, a mind to think, to fathom and analyse before jumping into conclusions. People are so hasty and act without thinking that other people also are like them, that they also have feelings. If human beings develop, “Empathy” Forgiveness would not be such a big problem as people will not resort to harm and hurt others. !!!

As so many others, I too have gone through a difficult journey. Maybe for some it would have been less or more, but as human beings we do all go through the, “Journey of Life the same way” No one can deny as, “For Everyone Tests and Tribulations are given ~ to overcome and become Stronger and move on to the next level” or else we all will be stagnating in the same place. Its a wonder as in few minutes it would be 13th October in Australia and I would have completed 8 years since migrating. Through time I believe I have become much more wiser. As when you observe life with wisdom, “All what happened or happens to you are tests, and all those who have crossed or cross your path are teachers or messengers” in that case no one is at fault and we need to forgive All. As without them we would not be where we are now. “Most certainly not me, every time I fell I got up. With each challenge I have become stronger” I have overcome depression and come a very long way. I have completely turned around and now looking forwards in starting again the next chapter. Ending this topic, I was thinking about this one day when I woke up, and these words came into my mind:

Which is very true. I have learnt a lot through my experiences and when we live with Loving Kindness our hearts become pure and we become peaceful. There is a long way to go, as every ending is another beginning, and I look forward to my next chapter 🙂

Hello To All My Dear Reader 🙂

I am re-doing some of the posts and this is exactly from 2 years ago. Looking back its an amazing, the journey I have come so far, in healing myself and advancing my knowledge, working, studying and going about in life as a, “Complete normal human being” Actually I am a much stronger and knowledgeable product now as a result of all the experiences I had experienced through the journey. This is because I made a concentrated effort in becoming well, making use of all the help I could get and above all, myself working towards healing 🙂

Why I am writing like this is for those of you who are reading to have “Hope and Faith” and to Believe in becoming well in time, with medication, counselling and/or psychotherapy. It is possible to control and send the dragon back into its cave where it came from. In other words it goes into remission as it happens with so many other physical illnesses too. In becoming well, I have the opportunity in enlightening/guiding others who are in need of, I should say “Hope” to know that you also have that chance, the ability to, become well and lead a life of Happiness and Joy that you deserve ❤

Depression is being very sad long term, and known as darkness because, if you are depressed, you do not see the colours of life. Meaning your eye tend to move on to dark and gloomy things even the clothes you wear and choose, tend to be dull and grey. Just like when its a rainy day and the sky is dark and all around you is gloomy. Also you lack energy, become lethargic, lack of appetite, sleep, at the same time drowsiness, and feeling of dullness in general towards living. These are what I have experienced, if you want more information you can refer books and the I net. At the same time the moment you get well, its just like the sun has come out and you see the world in all its glory. You become energized and full of enthusiasm to get on with life. Which I am now. So I know both the darkness and the light. Strange as, “Deepa” my name given according to my birth time means, “Light” Light has two meanings. The physical light, as well as, enlightening in knowledge. So somehow years ago, according to my birth time this was the suitable name which was given by a very wise person. It’s said we are born with a plan. So was I born for exactly this purpose ? In that case, is it why I went through all these challenges and tests to overcome for a purpose ? Time will give the answers 🙂

So after more than half of my life gone what I feel now is that, all what I have gone through is, ” To be able to gain that knowledge, so that I can enlighten others on this topic. It’s strange how life has taken a turn as what I wanted to do was Botany, as I loved plants. I never wanted to do medicine or to be a doctor, but now I am studying psychology. If we are all born for some specific purpose and it seems this is my purpose, my mission. Aren’t I glad that I have got such a mission in my hands 🙂

People go through hard times in their lives due to many different reasons. Being physically ill, problems in jobs, professions, lack of money and/or family/children problems. And sometimes all or many of these come together. People looking from outside, do not see what is going in others personal lives, and can discourage and hurt others with no reason. Someone who is going through a very bad time, might completely go off track, by some insensitive and ignorant people’s attitude and, pushing them further into darkness and gloom. Feeling desperate and not knowing what to do they might even end their lives. So do think before you say or do anything harsh without knowing what others are going through. These are the times that the human mind cannot take it and it breaks. So always be aware, just because someone is well dressed and smiling there can be lot going on unseen within !!!

Saying broken is that your mind becomes ill just like the body. The soul, your spirit can be dampened, and it becomes too much for the mind and it begins to give up. Then the body also goes down with it, as the mind is also in the physical self, in short in the head somewhere !!!
Its not only people who always break you, mother nature also does that with her floods, volcanoes and many other tricks up her sleeves. And for those who ask why only pictures of ladies, here are some for the gentlemen too 🙂

Not ten it can be hundreds of times, and some goes on for whole of their life time. This is why I am writing that it is possible for most of you to bring it down, keep it under control, if not fully to some extent, enough to lead a stress free life. If after 15 long years I overcome depression. So can you ❤

This is what happens to those who are over loaded with stress. Your head is over working trying to find solutions. Its mostly stress that you get headaches and most of the other illnesses. Its like a chess game inside your head, trying to figure out the best ways to overcome the problems and solve the difficult situations. The other person becomes too tough you lose the game !!!

Please do not look down upon people who have mental issues. Being mentally ill is Not being mad. Through stress, untold grief, sadness and abuse which often is not their fault many become confused and ill. This labeling and looking down upon people is wrong. All people have a right to lead a life of peace and happiness. “It is this stigma that is preventing a lot of people going for help to the doctor that is making them more ill. Mental illnesses are rising at an alarming rate. According to WHO by 2030 Depression will be the biggest cause of health burden in the world. “RIGHT NOW ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD , ONE PERSON TAKES THEIR OWN LIFE EVERY 30 SECONDS” and it is going up. I am sure glad I am on the, RIGHT SIDE OF LIFE, ENCOURAGING and SUPPORTING PEOPLE TO LIVE HEALTHY and HAPPY, and NOT DIE !!!

Once we open up, we help ourselves to feel good. To love and care for ourselves. As none of us are born perfect. Sometimes its not seen why somethings happened to us. No one makes a mistake or takes a wrong turn if they know that it will be a disaster. Sometimes it can be like putting out your hand out to survive to the closest thing, a person, when you are drowning in the river of stress. As our fist instinct is to survive this is how we are born. You are born to live and live to tell your story to others to lift them up too 🙂

Its not only our problems and struggles, our successes and winnings also can be turned into stories to help others. I am touching on the good side too. As so many harp on the bad side and do not see the good they have. This is a result of my being positive Now and not being depressed. Now I can look from both sides of life 🙂

Those who have gone through any physical or mental pain themselves can understand another’s pain or hardships better. Someone who never had a headache would find it hard to understand another’s pain in the head. But one doesn’t have to be, all that broken to understand another’s feelings. As all human beings have feelings, are intelligent and have a brain to think and analyse what is right and wrong. Each and everyone goes through some kind of experience, at some stage of their lives. Sometimes back when I posted this in my group, someone commented this is because, they feel the pinch !!!

Well I am a survivor. I did fight to win over depression. We all have to, sort of fight over lot of things to achieve what we want in life. I feel quite good that in spite of being named the light,  I fell into darkness and managed to come out. I fought the darkness and became what I am today. Back to myself 🙂

But we don’t go through all the experiences ourselves in one life. How I became well is from a combination of others experiences, my knowledge from very young days even before I got depressed has helped me. Even from books, magazines and other sources I come across. And I am not this small and certainly don’t live in a tea cup 😛

Hello To My Dear Readers 🙂

Hope all are well and Happy 😛 I am redoing some of the articles for the benefit of the new followers and also with more information. Actually this should have come after the article that I wrote about stress, as nature is the best medicine for stress. You might ask why, and I will say this is because we are part of mother nature. As its “Dust to dust and Ashes to ashes” So the best way to reduce stress is to reconnect with mother nature, relax and calm your mind and body 🙂

Healing 3
This is if you are comfortable walking among trees and plants especially in the woods, where its completely free of other disturbances and you can be totally immersed in the natural surroundings. When you can find a nice quiet place, you can be at peace. You hear the sounds of nature and then you hear yourself. As its in the silence that you hear your inner voice. What you really want in life. Your heart desires !

The reason we can relax best in nature is, because its full of greenery. Green is soothing to the eyes. Its a colour that balances the energies of the body and helps the mind to calm down. In fact my favourite colour is green and I love plants and nature 🙂

Most of the time the reason we get stressed is because, we are in a hurry. We try to run against time. Its true that we cannot sit and wait things to come to us, but after we have done our best, we need to have patience until things happen or change the way we want them to 🙂

I am sure almost all of you are aware, other than the vast sky above all around is the colour green as the world is usually full of trees and plants. But sadly man has been cutting down without much respect or consideration to the environment that our environment has got quite polluted, especially in countries that are over populated. Again life does balance too as from another side, some our growing and even having roof top gardens even for business purposes growing vegetables, fruits.

In the natural surroundings, the flowing of the water, the rustle of the leaves and the moving of the trees are all soothing sounds to the ears. That’s natural music that can relax and lull you to sleep peacefully 🙂

Nature 12

Nature plays a very big part in our healing. As you are able to relax naturally, stress goes away naturally too. You reconnect to where you really belong, mother nature. You inhale clean air, absorb the natural light and sounds to sooth your nerves. Walking bare foot, helps you to connect to mother earth. This is called grounding or earthing, which is also a spiritual term. By connecting with mother nature it helps to balance your energies/vibrations !!!

Healing 5

Learn to enjoy nature. Go bare foot for walks on the grass on the beach, sit and watch the clouds moving, how the light plays with the trees and leaves. Nature is one big experience by itself and most of all its free 🙂
