Thought of writing about stress. A common topic, a word but a real challenge to manage and overcome, but possible. Definition from the I net:

“A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances”

Stress is not only at work but everywhere. It can be at home, with family, friends and even doing hobbies and during many things in everyday life. We can become stressed doing thing we do not like or even doing things we like to do. The difference is we try to go beyond what we can do, “its like running against time or going against the natural order” There is a pattern a timing for everything in life. True there are times that we do have to quicken our step in order to keep up with this fast moving world, but its not with everything and all the time. In life we have choices and we need to choose correctly 🙂

We need to prioritize in life on how we can manage what we have to do. We cannot do everything all the time. There are things we can and not do according to age limits. We have to accept what we can and cannot do. In short we need to learn to let go of the unnecessary and things we cannot change in life. There is always things we can do, and people whom we can have around who do not stress us. At least one or two good family or friends, who can understand and care for us. There is always jobs and life situations that we can fit into but there is always that exception. In that case we have to change the way we thing and take them as tests !!!

None of us work 24/7 and there is always some free time to relax. Also relaxing does not need a lot of money either. Of course if one can have enough money to spend, there are many expensive ways to relax. But actually relaxing is becoming one with mother nature. The closer you become to mother earth, by ways of food clothes and living the closer you become to a stress free life. It is difficult to lead a complete stress free life in this present times. But there are plenty of simple way to relax and reduce our stress levels and enjoy a balanced and healthy life 🙂

You can see from this chart many many things you can do in order to relax and relieve stress. You will also notice many things are about how to enjoy nature. We are part of The Universe hence part of Mother Earth. We need to live in ways that we are close to nature as much as possible. Even if you lead busy lives in the city, once in a way to go to the beach, rivers, parks, even a swim in a pool will bring your body closer to the natural state. Hope you read up and follow some of them as I do too 🙂

Healing from ~ Depression !

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

I am re- doing some of the articles as with time, I am completely recovered from the 15 year long term depression, and been completely free of it almost 3 years up to ~ 9th October 2016. I have expanded my knowledge and gained more experiences in life. I have moved on tremendously from the past and am moving on still. Life is an ever changing process and the only constant is, Change 🙂
Some of the old articles are my past, and I want to write how I am, “Now” the present time. In short, one can say I am, “Re-writing my past again, in a positive way” Am I taking medication ? Yes basic dose of, preventive medication and going for regular check ups. I value my health very much, especially now as I know he difference between being sick and healthy. I have a healthy diet, proper exercises, rest and relaxation so that I am fit and healthy, both in body and mind. This is how I can write about depression after three years of being free from it 🙂

After all these years, looking back, I have now realized that this is very true. Although at the time when you are going through all the stress and trauma you are not aware. Its not possible to Let Go or Leave stressful life situations just like that, especially if there are other lives depending on you, so very often one is almost forced to tolerate and bear up whether you like it or not, until such time that you can make those changes. Sometimes when the load of stress becomes too much, it can be a very small thing that breaks you finally. It’s said, “That it’s the last straw that breaks the camels back” It’s also like a volcano erupting. I have always thought of it this way. That everything keeps on collecting and collecting, and suddenly the mind blows !!!

The sadness and grief eats into you, it goes deeper and stays longer than necessary so much so that  alters the chemical balance of your mind and body. This is something that many, Do Not Know ? Why ? How can anyone say, it’s all in the mind. Mental illnesses are just not in the mind its in the body too, as mind is in the body. How can people think that mind s elsewhere !!! When someone is physically ill then that person is ill. When its a mental illness, “Its only in the mind or there is no such thing as mental illness” This is something that some of the so called highly educated people think and say, and it is Time to change. This is why I am writing and doing this blog. Not to earn money, But to make people aware and enlighten the foolish !!! Sorry these are things that I am still going through and I am writing on, “Behalf of whole of Humanity” ❤

I know depression. It makes one feel lethargic, sleepy, lack of appetite and no energy to do anything. It disrupts your day to day life and you cannot be or do things how you did before. All illnesses are psychosomatic ~ both mind and body. So when the mind gets affected, naturally when the health of the body goes down. I know what Bipolar disorder means, its under control now. I know what PTSD is too. It’s Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Remembering the past Trauma, “The Grief, Painful things one has gone through in life” And knowingly so many people in real life and even on the I net still stress and disturb people like us when all what we are trying to do is to HELP others. My Intentions are Purely to Help, to give Hope to Live, Not end their lives, so that they too can lift their heads up. Sometimes the world, the society can be a very cruel and a vicious place !!!

Why we get sad or upset is because we are unable to be who we are and do the things that we like. Yes  we know we all have to abide by some form of discipline. We need to fit into family, work, society to some extent, as human beings we cannot just say and do things only how it suits us. But sometimes we are controlled too much. Instead of “adjusting” to fit in or live in harmony with another person or persons (it can be any life situation), sometimes we have to “completely change” from who we are. This is going completely against our natural way of life, our personality that we are born with. You can think of yourself wearing a dress or suit that is too tight, not to your color/style, or eating foods that is not to your taste. How do you feel ? Uncomfortable. This causes friction, stress. Which in turn makes you uneasy, unhappy, even angry having to do something you don’t like. Naturally. We are born to be who we are. For a short time yes, as sometimes we are compelled to do things we are not comfortable with, in certain situations. Long term ? No ? Why ? Because we are born to be free, and constantly that real person inside of us, “The real me” is struggling to come out. Again another reason why depression happens, when our spirits get dimmed. When we are not “Allowed to be who we are, to be able to live the life we are born to live 🙂

This is where I always say it’s, “Guidance and Not control” Guidance is with loving kindness, and controlling is being selfish ~ where one is almost forced to fit in according to another person’s needs and desires. So in life doing things that is against your personality keeps on stressing you. Apparently there can be lack of understanding and love too as you don’t have to go through such difficult situations if there are people who really care, and see or know what is happening and help with the situation. This is of course, “Before depression sets in” Once it does of course it’s a different story !!!

Yes many think its easy to say get out of it. But it is a, “Very Strong Force” it takes over you. It’s like a black mist that descends upon you from nowhere. For me it was not 24/7, but from time to time it used to raise its head up. There were times for days on end, I just couldn’t keep my head up, as if my neck had no strength. Where ever I went I used to put my head down and sleep. My head felt like a heavy stone. At one time I was about 30 kilos less than now, around 40 kilos, with hardly any appetite almost half of my weight. Now ? A bit over 😛 This is why I have posted my face, to see what I am now as proof, Happy Healthy and Smiling. I feel immensely Blessed 🙂

When I think of these times, I shiver and its a wonder, a Miracle almost, how I got out of it. But I worked at it and still do. I become so overwhelmed with gratitude, and makes me to write. Those who have Not gone through a severe life crisis, cannot understand what it is to Bounce back and come back to your normal self. This is why I have Dedicated myself for service. “Pure service is Not expecting anything in return” Just by writing and giving my knowledge itself is a Joy. I cannot describe the satisfaction I get. Service is in my blood from generations. So much so I cannot mention anyone’s name. But this is, My knowledge from what I have gone through and what I am doing. My own venture, which I feel I am   Blessed to have got the opportunity to serve all people as much as possible 🙂

You do need medication and counselling/therapy and what ever medical assistance to fight it. Just like all illnesses, mental or physical. But a major part of it is in your hands too. You need to work at it. You need to be persistent. If after 15 long years, I have defeated this force, “You Can too” We are all part of the universe and the universe gives us the Strength to be who we are. We need only to try ❤

Hello My Dear Readers,

As this is my journey along the path of healing, I thought I will write here as and how I am moving on with my life. Sometimes it may be the same things here and there, but they will be different each time, because we keep on changing and evolving as we go along !!!
Its really difficult to draw a line when you have become well and when you have really healed. Both can be on the balance as we cannot see the mind like the physical self. We ourselves don’t know what is still hiding in our minds waiting jump out, or if the memories or the hurts, have gone back so much so, almost never to come back !!!

Those who are really following my journey, are aware that recently I did the tying up the lose-end business, and ended one part of my life. Now I have got the urge to contact some of them who have been there for me, supporting and helping me at various times and ways. These things does happen from time to time. Meaning as you go along its like closing one door after another. In life you cannot just close a door once and for all and finish off that part. As we keep on changing and moving on, we keep on closing one chapter after another. Its just life reading a book. As in a book too there are many chapters and until you finish, you keep on reading one after the other, till the end !!!

I believe I have come to a big turning point of healing. I almost feel I have now become, who I was before all these upheavals happened. I remember all what I used to do, and I can’t believe the drama I have gone through, and how I have survived. Its like I have woken up from a very long dream, only no prince woke me up 🙂  I woke myself up !!!

Whoever is there for you or not, ultimately its you who has to heal yourself. It has to e a combination of many things. You need to get proper guidance from the medical personnel, medication and above all, “Make an extreme effort to do anything and everything possible to become positive and pull yourself up” Once you decide and begin to come up, others can give a helping hand. Being depressed or mentally unwell is like you are in a deep down place alone, where no one can reach you. The moment you decide to become well and begin to be active, its like coming out of that ditch. Then others are able to help you, reach out to you and pull you up 🙂

It has been a Very Long Journey. Actually it has been longer than half of what I have lived so far. And still 6 months ago there were few incidents that shook me, that trying to survive, helped me even more to understand what happened to me at certain points of my life which had been puzzling me for a long time. So actually they came as it came as blessings in disguise. In order to survive, I came out of my comfort zone, which only now I realise that there was such thing as a comfort zone, where I was concerned. What things we ourselves discover about us is the surprising thing.  And I did so many things otherwise I would have not done. This is because I was Determined to Survive and I believe I have really survived and come out quite  well, the reason I am write confidently about how I coped 🙂

In life we all go through various hardships at various times in different ways until the end. And sometimes yes, we all do wonder, why did all that happen to us, for what reason. Some answers don’t come immediately but they do in time, may be a few will not. Hopefully one day I will know the answers to my questions !!!
I pray and meditate to reflex on how things happened in the past and how best I can move on. I am discovering so much about me now. What I have forgotten and who I have become by overcoming all this challenges. I am who I was in the past, yet I have changed too !!! Life is such we all change all the time and we can go on learning and advancing ourselves as long as we have life. How wonderful to keep on updating your knowledge and to learn new things. I really enjoy doing so and with all what I have gone through, I find that, “Life can become Wonderful, if we have the strength and patience to keep on working towards it” 🙂
There are exceptions I know, just like everything. But for most of you, if you take courage, you can turn your life around to look at life in a positive way and make the best of who you are and what you have. We have only one life to live, and almost all of us are given, something special to make a mark in this world. For ourselves and then to others, at least to one person. We cannot change the whole world not all of us, although I wish we could. Don’t you ?
So we need to make use of what we have got. As I always end up saying, Be strong, have Courage and be Patient until the winds change and life turn in favour for you. It does, it has to. Winter doesn’t stay for ever nor does summer. We are part of this universe so we also move on with the clock of the universe. Your day will surely come ❤

Hello All My Dear Readers 🙂

My recent issue have got resolved and I am getting back to life, but its a new way of living. I have discovered that when you are pushed or stressed to a limit, coming out of the storm as to say, you are a changed person. The reason is that you have had to act or do things in a way you hadn’t done before, in order to solve those problems and survive. You have broken that little bubble you have been living in. You would have crossed those boundaries that you didn’t dare before. In short you would have, “Stepped out of your comfort zone and become much Stronger ready to face the next challenges, the world, with more Courage and Determination. So have I !!!
After all this has happened, before the beginning of the next chapter I got this need to clear up a few misunderstandings with certain people, who were unclear about what really happened to me. Its not that I have purposely done or said hurtful things, but along the way there has been some who didn’t know or understand what went on in my life, and how things changed as I became ill. We can’t clear the way how everyone thinks of us, but in my mind I wanted to clear up to a certain extent what happened in my life that led me to have a break down and become unwell. Also even though I was down for about 15 years of my life, that its possible to become well. And to show, now that I have recovered, I am able to work towards helping others through my experiences and knowledge 🙂
Its important to enlighten the general society. As some people speak and judge others, little knowing what’s going on within the four walls of one’s house. Especially when one dresses well and is seen going about normally, does not mean that everything is fine at work, home or in life !!!

In my experiences, the saying that, “There is no smoke without a fire also can also be wrong” As those who are envious and jealous, are all ready and waiting. Their need to put down another can be so strong that they, “Can imagine smoke/the wrong doings in their minds” I have also realised in the end that all these people who make stories and try to spoil your life are, “Those who are doing the wrong things themselves and they see the others also the same way” But in the end all these are proven as Truth is like oil. It rises to the top one day. And also you need not do anything in return, but leave all that to God/ The Higher Power/ The Laws of The Universe. As Life is an echo !!!

We can’t clear the way how everyone thinks of us, but there comes a time we get this feeling, “we need to”, in order to move forward. This is almost like, paying your bills and clearing out from a house, before going away to the next. You end that period/chapter of your life, to begin the next with less baggage from the past as possible, It is hard because this is something we need to do all by ourselves. We cannot get anyone to explain on our behalf. And then one needs to deal with the memories that comes up while doing so. But once it’s done, what ever the outcome from the people concerned, be it they accept or understand is irrelevant/does not matter. You have done your part and you have cleared your mind. And then you are, “Free to move on” in Happiness and Peace to your next chapter 🙂
Unfinished business or relationships keep harping our minds and they are reminders of failures. Tying up lose ends, bring all that to an end. A closure to one part of your life. They can be many things, they can be clearing out your house and putting clutter out and organizing it. It also means clearing out clutter and organizing your mind too. Which is very important before moving on to your next chapter your life, to Begin, Again 🙂

Letting Go !

Hello To All My Dear Readers 🙂

How I am doing ? Quite good 🙂 I have overcome much sooner and better than I thought I would, and also making those who were supporting me happy too. There will be a few hiccups here and there but I am back on track again, ready to face the next challenge. Again ? Yes. There comes challenges for all of us in life over and over again. And each time we need to learn how to face and overcome them, to become stronger and wiser to move on with life !!!
Once you have overcome a challenge or challenges, you need to learn from them and organize yourself, to make sure the same thing does not disturb you the same way again. For this you need to, “Let Go” of the things and people that does not work for you anymore. Letting go usually, does not mean taking a bag and going away as so many posts show. As in life you cannot leave those who are dependent on you and walk off just like that. What it means mostly is, “Letting go from the Mind” !!!
Letting Go is a process. As in life from the moment we are born we are Letting Go isn’t it. First of all we let go of the womb that we grew for 9 months and entered the, seems like harsh world with a bang !!!
From that time onwards, everything that we were born with, our hair, skin keeps on shedding and being renewed without our knowledge. Letting go is a, “Natural Process for us to, “Let Go” of the unwanted/old and move on to new that works for us” Its just like discarding our clothes that become too small for us as we grow on to our next size. Not only us it happens to animals too. Like reptiles they too shed their whole length of outer skin from time to time !!!
Then why is this, Letting Go become such a painful process ?
This is when, “We are Forced to Let Go”, “Before we are ready” Just like pulling our hair or teeth before time. In Nature, there is Always, a Time for everything. When we have to, or Forced to give up anything or people before we are ready only, it becomes painful” !!!
In Life generally all of us automatically let go and move on, as we keep on growing and changing and so does our environment. Yes there are always the exceptions. Some are greedy and want to hang on, even to things like clothes they no longer wear. But this is not what I am talking about. What I am talking about is the general flow of how things happen in life !!!
I have come to a stage where I have made a very Big Let Go and the process has begun. This is why I am able to write on this clearly. Most of the people I have considered important are less important now even things does not attract me like before. “I am Not doing it purposely, it is happening automatically. Looking back I have seen this happening continuously of being having, to Let Go of Many Things and People” And once you accept life becomes much easier and pleasant. As you have less people and things to trouble you unnecessarily !!!
This happens to all of us not only me, as its part of Life. And we have to learn to deal with it. This is because the world is both good and the bad. Its not all who are considerate and kind. There are generous and greedy, just like sad and happy. That is how life is !!!
Then how to make life a little easier for us, living in this complicated world ? Well the most important word comes in Lol 😛  To be prepared to Let Go, when we know when our work is done with them and we are no more needed. Hard, yes. But this is reality. When a person/persons have out grown you, means they have changed their personality, their vibrations, their whole energy, so they simply cannot live under the same roof with the same things or the same people anymore. Because even those things belongs to a different era. This happened to me recently as I was clearing the house ending of the year. There were a few things that was with me from the past. While I was clearing, suddenly I simply didn’t want to have them anymore. The very same day I went and gave them away. The relief, when I came back. As if a weight had lifted from my head. Such is how you feel when you “Let Go” of the unwanted things hanging around especially from the past, that reminds you of sad or painful times !!!
The change has not happened fully, but I feel myself even things around me changing. Saying that, we will always be changing everyday, every moment in life. But there are times for, “Big Life Changes” I believe moving away with a Good Heart from the people that no longer need me, will ultimately lead me to the places and people with whom I fit in and belong with. Hoping I will be able to give you all, those Good news one day soon. So that all those who read also will be able to know how things happen and have Faith and Hope in difficult times, to know that Letting Go ultimately bring your Happiness, Joy and Peace and Harmony to Your Life and to those around you as well 🙂

Hello My Dear Readers 🙂

One of the best way to relax and distress is through nature. But this is if you are comfortable walking among trees and plants especially in the woods, where its completely free of other disturbances and you can be totally immersed in the natural surroundings.

Nature 7

Why nature ? Because ultimately we go back to earth isn’t it ? As its “Dust to dust and Ashes to ashes” So the best way to reduce stress is to reconnect with mother nature relax and calm your mind and body 🙂
Nature 5When you can find a nice quiet place, you can be at peace. You hear the sounds of nature and then you hear yourself. As its in the silence that you hear your inner voice. What you really want in life. Your heart desires !
Nature 6Why we can relax best in nature is, because its full of greenery. Green is soothing to the eyes. Its a colour that balances the energies of the body and helps the mind to calm down. In fact my favourite colour is green and I love plants and nature 🙂

Nature 15aMost of the time the reason we get stressed is because we are in a hurry. We try to run against time. Its true that we cannot sit and wait things to come to us, but after we have done our best, we need to have patience until things happen or change the way we want them to 🙂

Nature 3If you notice green is the colour we see most as the world is usually full of trees and plants, unless of course man has cut down and built on the lands.

In the natural surroundings, the flowing of the water, the rustle of the leaves and the moving of the trees are all soothing sounds to the ears. That’s natural music that can relax and lull you to sleep peacefully 🙂

Nature 12Nature plays a very big part in our healing. As you are able to relax naturally, stress goes away naturally too. You reconnect to where you really belong, mother nature. You inhale clean air, absorb the natural light and sounds that helps to balance your energies/vibrations. Learn to enjoy nature. Go for walks, sit and watch the clouds moving, how the light plays with the trees and leaves. Nature is one big experience by itself and most of all its free 🙂

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder !

Hello Dear Readers, here I am again 🙂

I have been wanting to write here, but some unforeseen issues developed and I was thrown off track. Life is such that you don’t know what suddenly lands on you. If its something good then its fantastic. But if its not so then its trouble especially for those who are very sensitive and are having mental issues. So this is why its important to continue your medication as long as you have to. So I thought I will enlighten some of you on this topic, and yet again this is how I will want to read, as when you are stressed you don’t and cant read too much of information. I have been pushed back into remembering certain things, that wont go away. This is the problem with mental illness. As until you get disturbed or shaken up, you don’t know what is hiding in your mind. Its just not always what people do, but mother nature also play havoc at times and they become traumatic events that leaves you highly stressed. Losing your possessions, loved ones or to have to face fear, sadness or pain.
Post-traumatic disorder happens, when something triggers you. “Trigger is anything that sets you off emotionally and activates your memories of your trauma. They are specific to each person how and what they have gone through” And you begin to re-experience these events that you have seen or experienced before. Each person goes through different experiences and each persons ability to deal with them differs according to their personality, their strengths.

I am not having nightmares. But certain memories which had been buried has come out again and they are tyring to push past my current state of mind. I am stable and doing everything quite well. But I am unable to concentrate on my studies, which is very annoying as I have been doing so with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. I have been battling with it from about four months, and was getting over when I was shaken again. But everything happens for a good reason, as I have not gone to the psychiatrist for almost one and a half years, I have thought of getting some counselling again. As each time you get shaken up you find out things about yourself and you need to make changes in order they do not happen again 🙂

Outside forces, people can disturb us. But then its only ourselves who have to battle it out and come out. So we need to set boundaries, in order to safeguard ourselves. Its not easy to come out of it once it sets in. With my own experiences I am saying that you need to go to a psychologist or a psychiatrist for help. And also keep up with your current medication if you are taking any. And look after your health, and try to keep to your normal routine as much as possible 🙂

Actually although I wanted to come and write here, I was having nausea and drowsiness as well. But thankfully they are getting less. Still I have not gone to the psychiatrist. So I will be updating all of you. And it will be interesting to follow my progress. And I will have to make a genuine effort as I have to write positive things here, about my becoming well isn’t it 🙂
This post will make you remember all about PTSD. As its difficult to silence the mind once its disturbed and the thoughts that keep on coming, restricts the body or us going about the usual ways and doing things in life. This is why anyone has to be very careful with their words and even dealing with others. As we don’t know what another person is going through although they are smiling from outside !!!
