Chakra Healing ~ Manipura!

Hello To My Dear Readers ❀

Chakra 2

Hope all of you are doing well and happy. I am continuing with chakra healing with the Manipura chakra which is situated midway between the rib cage and the naval. It is the third energy centre and is associated with the sun and the element is fire. This is where we feel our personal power, and on the negative side fear and anxiety, which leads to stress where we feel, “Butterfly in the stomach and causes stomach upsets when we are over stressed” So what you need to do when this happens is to, relax and do things to calm you down, eat healthy and have enough sleep time ❀

Chakra 12a
Manipura chakra relates to the digestive system, muscles, metabolism and your self esteem and will power. The colour of this chakra is yellow and when imbalanced we can re-balance with yellow colour fruits and vegetables too. Yellow citrus foods stimulate physical and emotional release from this chakra and also bananas, turmeric and ginger which helps calm down an upset stomach ❀

Chakra 13
Solar plexus chakra is one of the most powerful tools we have to create our personal circumstances, to live well or not, good or bad. Sages and philosophers have known for thousands of years that personal belief systems (how we think from our minds ~ the thoughts) by which we recognize and understand how the world appears to work, are of critical importance to our well being. Because by having a positive mind you have positive thoughts, thereby we can feel valued and accept ourselves to be confident and well balanced human beings to become useful to ourselves and to the world πŸ™‚

Chakra 13
The Solar Plexus Chakra at the spiritual level is to gain wisdom to know the true nature of each of us, as its not possible to understand who you are, until you know what your strength and weaknesses are. Once you are aware of your real personality, you are able to move on with life in agreement with the true self to be free and at peace, which is the ultimate goal in our lives. Below is an affirmation which you can follow towards being supportive to your spiritual growth ❀

The Power of Hand Writing!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❀

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Today I thought of Β Writing about the value of writing by hand. As in this increasing digital age, so many have, and are turning to type and swipe, on the computers, laptops, I pads and phones than using pencils or pens to write by hand. In my case I do use all that but, have always liked to write by pens and pencils too from my school days, and still continue to write using my various pens to write.Β How many of you still still love Writing by hand?

A study in psychological science hasΒ been found that students who take down notes by hand, rather than by laptops are better able to remember and grasp the subject. This is because when we are Writing by hand we tend to concentrate and write slowly, be more selective, rephrase and summarise, and choose the most important information, to include in the notes. This makes the brain works more efficiently and we are able to understand the content clearly and memorize better πŸ™‚

The studies with small kindergarten children also showed that, those who learnt the alphabet by Writing exercises, learnt it faster and better than those learning from the key board system. On the whole children both young and old, acquired a better understanding of the language, and were better able to express more ideas with a multitude of Β Words !

Writing Β journaling are excellent ways for understanding and recovering from stress and Trauma !Β In my opinion, the best way to put the mind in order is writing out what is going on in the mind. Typing out also yes but, “Writing Β by hand puts in that extra effort and forces out something from inside of you, that cannot really happen from typing” As the hand yields to the emotions inside of you, and helps better to let go or organize your mind in a much better way ❀W 4aaEvidence from new research show the psychological benefits of handwriting. How those who wrote by hand, were more likely to find relief from anxiety, fear and worry than those tapping on a computer. It also shows that jotting down our thoughts and feelings not only help people understand and recover from stress and Healing ~ Trauma !Β but also help those with chronic conditions such as asthma and arthritis, those recovering from surgery and even those battling terminal or life-threatening diseases !

The fact that some who rarely or never use handwriting as an outlet to express themselves, is a sad fact as journaling is so helpful in clarifying one’s thoughts!

Writing by hand is a very personal and creative experience. I know as I am very fond of writing by hand. It helps one to be more aware of what is going on in the mind and helps the mind to stay in balance, healthy and happy. So why don’t you try too? If by now if you have not tried πŸ˜›

Things We Love to Do!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❀

I have been talking about the things we really like to do, and I came across these really wonderful picture quotes that I thought of posting them for your knowledge and enjoyment. The last few articles have been rather serious, as the subject of mental health is quite a heavy subject. So for a break I felt like writing something more light hearted and relaxing, as life is not only to live well but, to enjoy, have fun and be happy too. To be able to be really happy, is to be able to, “Do what You really Like” πŸ™‚

There are lot of things we can do in life. There is a saying, “Just to eat, drink and pay the bills is not a way to live”. And of course all of us are doing many things to keep ourselves occupied, to keep us going. Being on the blogs itself is proof that we are out and about in learning new things and moving on in life without stagnating ❀

I enjoy doing a lot of activities, both indoor and outdoor. Sometimes a little too much for my age but I like to keep myself active. Today too even though it is winter and cold, I braved the weather and did my front garden. I also enjoy cooking, housework as I love to keep a neat house, reading and music my favourite topics, chakra dancing for therapy and exercises, Mandala art for relaxing the mind and well…. the list goes on πŸ˜›

What are the things you Love to do? Think. Are you doing them? At least some of them or even one? Sometimes we forget or don’t pay attention, to do the things we like to do. As I said it need not be a Hobby as such, but anything that Relaxes you, make you Happy and Calm. Doing what we like need not be big things that takes up a lot of money, but even small things, to distract us from unnecessary issues and keep us going. As it is, our life and others can help us but, only we can choose what we like to do to make us Happy, that will lead to our goals and have a Happy ending πŸ™‚

Forgiveness in Healing !

Hello To All My Dear Readers πŸ™‚

Hope all of you are enjoy reading what I write, and learning something from them too. This is an important topic that I overlooked in writing regarding healing, because when we need to heal we need to let go of all the past hurts and pains as holding on to those negative feelings blocks new and Positive feelings coming into our minds !!!

In life we all get hurt in many situations. This can be from those whom we love and care or even complete strangers. Whoever it may be, as ordinary human beings if we become subject to unkindness, cruelty or injustice we do get angry, hurt or upset. In these times some will get highly angry, offended or annoyed in return, and there can be strong arguments and clashes, and they will completely keep away or cut them out of their lives. Some will get hurt but will not respond, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect them. So basically there two ways people react to other people’s hurtful words or deeds. Just the same there are two ways to respond to these situations too πŸ™‚

Sometimes people intentionally do things to spoil our lives, that we are do not detect at that time. They think that we are not aware of the damage they are doing or have done. These are not relevant only to those with mental issues but for everyone. These are the deep wounds some people cause on others. And they can be the very acts, that if they happens continuously for another person to become mentally ill. Ultimately, “The truth surfaces like oil in the water” and those who do mischief get exposed, and they are unable to face the society the world, but the damage has been done. I know for so many these are things they have faced in life and forgiveness is a major issue. Which do you choose ? Do we want to be sad or happy ? Which gives us more peace of mind ? As our ultimate goal in life is to be at peace with ourselves. The day we close our eyes finally we need to be at peace, for our soul to rest in peace. Or else the soul will be restlessly wondering for a very long time !!!

“We can hold on to our anger, resentment and thoughts of revenge ~ Or we can embrace forgiveness let go and move on with our lives” We all have a Choice πŸ™‚

 

What I have realised is, “To truly Forgive one has to be really mature and wise” Because it is through the eyes of wisdom you see who people are, “That we are all one” Those who harm and hurt others, “Do not have this wisdom” They are not aware that we are all part of The Universe. That when we hurt one person there is a ripple effect just like when we do something good”. Also, “What goes around comes around” Be it according to Buddhism, Christianity or any other religion it is said that by harming others you harm yourself. If someone really understands this will they do it? I don’t think so. They are in the dark. They are ignorant. This is the time it is said, “Ignorance is evil” So only the “Wise and the mature people understand this” !!!

It is the weak people who holds grudges. As sometimes just like those who do cruel acts purposely, there are times people do things unaware they have given others pain. In life there can be so many complicated situations that sometimes things happen so quickly even before you know and some have got offended or angry without knowing the real reasons. This is why human beings have a brain, a mind to think, to fathom and analyse before jumping into conclusions. People are so hasty and act without thinking that other people also are like them, that they also have feelings. If human beings develop, “Empathy” Forgiveness would not be such a big problem as people will not resort to harm and hurt others. !!!

As so many others, I too have gone through a difficult journey. Maybe for some it would have been less or more, but as human beings we do all go through the, “Journey of Life the same way” No one can deny as, “For Everyone Tests and Tribulations are given ~ to overcome and become Stronger and move on to the next level” or else we all will be stagnating in the same place. Its a wonder as in few minutes it would be 13th October in Australia and I would have completed 8 years since migrating. Through time I believe I have become much more wiser. As when you observe life with wisdom, “All what happened or happens to you are tests, and all those who have crossed or cross your path are teachers or messengers” in that case no one is at fault and we need to forgive All. As without them we would not be where we are now. “Most certainly not me, every time I fell I got up. With each challenge I have become stronger” I have overcome depression and come a very long way. I have completely turned around and now looking forwards in starting again the next chapter. Ending this topic, I was thinking about this one day when I woke up, and these words came into my mind:

Which is very true. I have learnt a lot through my experiences and when we live with Loving Kindness our hearts become pure and we become peaceful. There is a long way to go, as every ending is another beginning, and I look forward to my next chapter πŸ™‚

That Thing called Stress !!!

Hello To My Dear Readers πŸ™‚

Thought of writing about stress. A common topic, a word but a real challenge to manage and overcome, but possible. Definition from the I net:

“A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances”

Stress 6a
Stress is not only at work but everywhere. It can be at home, with family, friends and even doing hobbies and during many things in everyday life. We can become stressed doing thing we do not like or even doing things we like to do. The difference is we try to go beyond what we can do, “its like running against time or going against the natural order” There is a pattern a timing for everything in life. True there are times that we do have to quicken our step in order to keep up with this fast moving world, but its not with everything and all the time. In life we have choices and we need to choose correctly πŸ™‚

Stress 4a
We need to prioritize in life on how we can manage what we have to do. We cannot do everything all the time. There are things we can and not do according to age limits. We have to accept what we can and cannot do. In short we need to learn to let go of the unnecessary and things we cannot change in life. There is always things we can do, and people whom we can have around who do not stress us. At least one or two good family or friends, who can understand and care for us. There is always jobs and life situations that we can fit into but there is always that exception. In that case we have to change the way we thing and take them as tests !!!

Stress 5a

None of us work 24/7 and there is always some free time to relax. Also relaxing does not need a lot of money either. Of course if one can have enough money to spend, there are many expensive ways to relax. But actually relaxing is becoming one with mother nature. The closer you become to mother earth, by ways of food clothes and living the closer you become to a stress free life. It is difficult to lead a complete stress free life in this present times. But there are plenty of simple way to relax and reduce our stress levels and enjoy a balanced and healthy life πŸ™‚

Stress 7
You can see from this chart many many things you can do in order to relax and relieve stress. You will also notice many things are about how to enjoy nature. We are part of The Universe hence part of Mother Earth. We need to live in ways that we are close to nature as much as possible. Even if you lead busy lives in the city, once in a way to go to the beach, rivers, parks, even a swim in a pool will bring your body closer to the natural state. Hope you read up and follow some of them as I do too πŸ™‚
