Interpersonal fitness is the capacity to foster, engage in and sustain positive relationships and to endure and recover from life stressors with the assistance and support of others. Socially resilient individuals evidence the willingness to both ask for help and offer help when needed and build mutually caring relationships.

a) fine-tuning your communication skills b) learning ways to handle interpersonal conflicts more effectively c) learning ways to nurture your relationship with a partner or spouse d) developing ways to reenter, reengage, reconnect, reintegrate and become more resilient.
