Relaxing ~ For Kids!

I thought of doing a post for the Young ones as “They are also facing a lot of Changes and Challenges”. As they are also facing different conditions, some having to do school work from The I net and being home. Parents working in different ways or doing work from home ❤


You can see The Reasons for Reading and for The Children: They can find so many Different Ways of knowing places, people and information.

Even Reading alone. Or One of the best and most powerful ways to reflect is through writing, and in that – ‘Journaling’ as it is more structured. As you put your thoughts on paper on a regular basis, you slowly being to de-clutter your mind and bring things into perspective leading to self awareness, clarify, and inner peace.

Playing Music Alone or with Group or with Friends. The right music has the power to take away all your worries. Create a playlist of your favorite relaxing tracks and listen to it whenever you like. A drum circle is where a bunch of people sit around and play drums. You can gather your like minded friends and make a your own drum circle or join a drum circle happening in and around you. The rhythmic vibrations created by these drums playing in unison can be very therapeutic or Relaxing ❤

There are lots of things to do in a park. Go to a nearby park and watch other children play. They might even ask you to join. Can you see “A Park with Lots children Playing” One girl Flying A Kite. Down “Two Girls Playing with Sand” Right Side Below “A Girl and A Boy going Up and Down on A See Saw” Now Can you see how many Things Others are doing and if You can Count and see what you Know and “How Many Children are there in the Park? ❤

See there are lots of things to do in a park. Go to a nearby park and watch other children play. They might even ask you to join. It can be, Different seasons. Tune into their carefree energy.

Do what ever possible. Sit on a swing and start swinging. Feel the air on your skin and enjoy the soothing to and for movements. It need not be a park itself. Any strong tree anywhere safe is all you need. The rocking movements that a swing creates will relax you. Hanging swing seats (hammock or chairs).

Rocking chairs are also a good option as they provide similar soothing movements. Its A Very Big Rocking Chair. Lot of you can sit on it Rock together 😛 You can listen to the birds chirping too at home or outside. Tune into their free energy.

Girl and boy and the four seasons. This is Winter where You can Make snowmen but only where you live You have Winter and becomes very cold you get Snow. Making snow men out of snow.

Walk around where you live. Stop and smell the flowers. Don’t just make small observations, but be fully present and look deeply, get into the minor details.

If you have a little space, or even planting in some containers, as “Indoor plants” “Gardening is the best way to connect with mother earth’. Planting, raking leaves or even just pulling out weeds can have a calming influence on the mind.

Work in your garden barefooted to get the benefits of grounding or earthing. Or even walk around where you live. Let the soles of your feet get directly in touch with mother earth by walking or standing barefoot.

This practice known as ‘grounding’ is said to have various health benefits. Studies suggest that it helps reduce stress. Think of (Consider) walking barefoot on the beach or in a garden. Walk on dry leaves. The crackling or rustling sounds. This can be a deeply relaxing activity during the fall season.

Don’t just make small observations, but be fully present and look deeply, get into the minor details.

Making A snowman out of snow. You have to wear very warm clothes as it is very cold when snow falls 🙂

Different seasons so doing different activities!

Go for a swim if possible and with Family or with an adult. Swimming, especially in natural lakes can be extremely relaxing. But even if you don’t have a lake nearby and your only option is chlorine treated water, it can still give you all the benefits. You can still Play around in the water, float in it, feel the water and listen to the water as you swim. Parents engaged in kids learning. Mother and father teaching children walking, swimming, riding bicycle, reading. So there are other activities to do, when your parents or other family members are free. Or it can be A Coach or even a Teacher!

Near the sea and on the Beach it is all free. You can Play around in the water, float in it, feel the water and listen to the water as you swim. You can also use a flotation product like an air mat or pool tube and enjoy a relaxing float in the water 🙂

A beach is free for all, and listen to the waves, walk along the shores, feel the breeze, build sand castles and collect sea shells. Walking on a beach has many known benefits in addition to helping you release stress.

Sing or dance. Put on your favorite music and move your body to the rhythm. You can get together with Friends and make it fun. Don’t focus on how you are dancing. Instead, let go, lose yourself to the rhythm and let the rhythm guide you. Moving your body this way helps deeply relax your mind and body. Or learn to play a musical instrument like guitar, ukulele or a piano. Playing music is fun and can be an excellent stress reliever. You can easily learn the basics using the countless tutorials available on the internet.

Getting on with your Daily Routine. To feel clean and Fresh. A hot or cold shower, can be extremely relaxing to your mind and body.

Spend time with a pet. If you don’t have one, you can play or take a friend’s pet for a walk. Petting a dog or cat or rabbit or any other furry animal can feel highly relaxing ❤

Treehouses are Free playing if there are Trees near by. Need not be high up even beneath the trees, and even have a few biscuits and some drink Hot or Cold how the weather is like a picnic.

Paint your imagination: It does not matter if you are good at painting or not. Just take out a watercolor paper (or simply use any blank paper), a paintbrush, some watercolors and paint what comes to your mind. Express yourself. You can even use sketch pens, color pencils or crayons


Adult coloring books are a good option too. You can draw a simple Mandala. As it is popular these days. No need of books itself You can see on the I net or just imagine one on your own. A little info about mandalas. Mandala is a Sanskrit word loosely meaning circle. They have been created by people from different religions for centuries. They are intricate, repeating geometric shapes that make up a circle. Basically mandalas symbolize our universe, and the idea that everything in our universe is connected. If you are making these with kids, these will give them a taste of design, proportion, symmetry, and working with abstraction. Plus, they are meditattive (Mindful). And beautiful.
Directions: Trace a big circle on a piece of paper. We used an old plate (at least they’re getting used for something 😛 Cut out the circle carefully – hold 2 pieces of paper together to double time your cutting process, since you will want to be making more than one of these things. Kids can easily make their own easy mandalas with this folding trick, and use personal symbols or random abstract shapes to make this art project.



Watch your favorite childhood cartoons. Do not have to be TV. Even on your old Comic books. You can even Draw. You never know Your Talents ❤ Go for a mindful walk early in the morning when the air is fresh. Be mindful of each step you take, the sights, sounds and smells. Lose yourself to the experience. Lay down or sit on a warm grassy spot and watch the clouds go by. While you are at it, see if these clouds might carry a message for you. This is with, “A Rainbow” A Rainbow comes after it Rains and The sun comes out 🙂
