Chakra 2

Hope all of you are doing well and happy. I am continuing with chakra healing with the Manipura chakra which is situated midway between the rib cage and the naval. It is the third energy centre and is associated with the sun and the element is fire. This is where we feel our personal power, and on the negative side fear and anxiety, which leads to stress where we feel, “Butterfly in the stomach and causes stomach upsets when we are over stressed” So what you need to do when this happens is to, relax and do things to calm you down, eat healthy and have enough sleep time ❀

Chakra 12a
Manipura chakra relates to the digestive system, muscles, metabolism and your self esteem and will power. The colour of this chakra is yellow and when imbalanced we can re-balance with yellow colour fruits and vegetables too. Yellow citrus foods stimulate physical and emotional release from this chakra and also bananas, turmeric and ginger which helps calm down an upset stomach ❀

Chakra 13
Solar plexus chakra is one of the most powerful tools we have to create our personal circumstances, to live well or not, good or bad. Sages and philosophers have known for thousands of years that personal belief systems (how we think from our minds ~ the thoughts) by which we recognize and understand how the world appears to work, are of critical importance to our well being. Because by having a positive mind you have positive thoughts, thereby we can feel valued and accept ourselves to be confident and well balanced human beings to become useful to ourselves and to the world πŸ™‚

Chakra 13
The Solar Plexus Chakra at the spiritual level is to gain wisdom to know the true nature of each of us, as its not possible to understand who you are, until you know what your strength and weaknesses are. Once you are aware of your real personality, you are able to move on with life in agreement with the true self to be free and at peace, which is the ultimate goal in our lives. Growing Older ~ Young At Heart!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❀

Today I thought of writing about a topic that seems to be an issue with so many, it is: “Growing Old”! We know that we all grow by the hour, day, months and years, and the general feeling is that life is short and time is limited. It is true that as human beings we do have a limited span of life but, “How I believe is that ~”Life is how much you put into the years and Not count life in years” πŸ™‚
Different people have different views on aging …but I believe we need to have a very positive outlook about us getting older by the years. Because life is precious and life is to live well. Each day we have is a gift, that we are able to learn as time goes by, new things, meet new people and see many new places and expand our knowledge and lead a better life. Don’t you think so πŸ™‚

There are some who has been asking, why the quotes are mostly regarding ladies as actually most of the pictures are with female figures somehow! So here I have posted quotes from both, a well known film actress, Audrey Hepburn and a famous poet and lecturer Ralph Waldo Emerson!

We can grow old gracefully, becoming wiser, with the inner beauty shinning out, which is the true beauty, or we can become worried that years are passing by and the end is near πŸ˜› But as human beings we are able to choose. We can read, and so much of resources are available to educate ourselves, think and make choices on how to decide the best ways of living healthy and living life to the full. So why do we have to really worry so much about growing older? How do you feel and think about growing old?

Growing old by the day actually is physical, because as we we are growing we become more experienced and add more knowledge, and if we work at it the mind can become very advanced and we are able to gain true wisdom. Physically too we can keep our bodies active, and with a healthy diet we can be fit and healthy well into our older years, as to say. Life is full of mysteries and surprises, we can keep ourselves entertained from all that. My belief is, we all do grow but we can stay young in our hearts and minds πŸ™‚

The post below goes for men too. Generally with maturity most people gain so much knowledge and are full of experiences that, people cannot just take them for granted or put them down and make them feel inferior. Unlike when young, one is able to stand up for oneself and answer back with wisdom and not tolerate unnecessary drama. I as a older person can definitely vouch for that πŸ˜€

There is so much to live in the years we have in our span of life. It is not the years but how much we put into the years that we can live. Its true that most of us do have to slow down somewhat from our very young years, but that doesn’t mean we stop doing the things we like and living well. There is a misconception that as you grow older the brain loses its ability be active as young but, “Medical evidence shows that ~ what we loose with age is very minute and that it does not slow down our thinking or power of learning so ~ “Age need not prevent our learning” But of course just as our physical self we need to exercise our brains too to keep it working to the full. I will expand and write about this in the next article. In the meantime, I urge you to “Live Your Life to the Full and forget about your age” πŸ˜€

Things We Love to Do!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❀

I have been talking about the things we really like to do, and I came across these really wonderful picture quotes that I thought of posting them for your knowledge and enjoyment. The last few articles have been rather serious, as the subject of mental health is quite a heavy subject. So for a break I felt like writing something more light hearted and relaxing, as life is not only to live well but, to enjoy, have fun and be happy too. To be able to be really happy, is to be able to, “Do what You really Like” πŸ™‚

There are lot of things we can do in life. There is a saying, “Just to eat, drink and pay the bills is not a way to live”. And of course all of us are doing many things to keep ourselves occupied, to keep us going. Being on the blogs itself is proof that we are out and about in learning new things and moving on in life without stagnating ❀

I enjoy doing a lot of activities, both indoor and outdoor. Sometimes a little too much for my age but I like to keep myself active. Today too even though it is winter and cold, I braved the weather and did my front garden. I also enjoy cooking, housework as I love to keep a neat house, reading and music my favourite topics, chakra dancing for therapy and exercises, Mandala art for relaxing the mind and well…. the list goes on πŸ˜›

What are the things you Love to do? Think. Are you doing them? At least some of them or even one? Sometimes we forget or don’t pay attention, to do the things we like to do. As I said it need not be a Hobby as such, but anything that Relaxes you, make you Happy and Calm. Doing what we like need not be big things that takes up a lot of money, but even small things, to distract us from unnecessary issues and keep us going. As it is, our life and others can help us but, only we can choose what we like to do to make us Happy, that will lead to our goals and have a Happy ending πŸ™‚

Chakra 2

Hope all of you are finding what I write useful and the two articles on End The Stigma!was an eye opener. IΒ am continuing the Chakra Healing!Β This is after the 1stΒ Chakra Healing ~ Muladhara!Β The 2nd Chakra, which is called Svadisthana or the Sacral Chakra!

Chakra 2a

The Sacral Chakra is the 2nd energy centre. This is located below the naval and above the pubic bone. The reason it’s said, that it is the sexual centre is because, below the naval is where the reproductive organs are, and then the large intestine and the bladder also to do with this Chakra!
The colour that influence this Chakra is Orange so, Orange fruits like, Papaya, Mangoes, Oranges, Peaches and vegetables like Carrots, Pumpkins and Sweet Potatoes support this Chakra. The Element is water so, healing happens best around places to do with water like, the sea, lakes or rivers. It can be walking, sitting or just relaxing in water or swimming, but it all depends whether you are stressed and need to relax and slow down, or move fast and energize. So you need to know, what your issue is and what to do exactly to balance this Chakra. Chakra 12
The Sacral Chakra is very much to do with Creativity, and there are many activities you can do to balance this Chakra. Art, painting and drawing brings a sense of calmness and relaxation, and also singing and dancing are excellent activities to bring this Chakra to be balanced. I will be writing separate articles, of the values of other activities as well as, music, singing and dancing later on πŸ™‚

Hello To My Dear Readers πŸ™‚

Hope all of you are keeping well and happy. Thank you for encouraging me by reading, commenting and following my blog. Today I am going to write about the chakras that are within us. What are chakras?

Chakra 8a

I know most of you who are writing blogs and also those who are highly advanced in their wisdom are all aware that, we are all made of, “Energy” Our life force energy is called, “Prana” in Sanskrit, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. There are 7 chakras whch respond to 7 different colours, along the spinal cord. The 6th one on our forehead which is the third eye, and ***The 7th one on top of our head which is the, “crown chakra” which connects to the higher energy, and also energy gets released out from the crown chakra on top of our heads*** They respond to different energy vibrations. It is when they get blocked that we become ill. How do they get blocked?

Chakra 1
You can see how the chakras deal with what we think, say and do. As what we say and do is according to how we think from our minds. So in the present times it is understood that the root cause of most illnesses are psychosomatic – both body and mind – where the mind influences the body to create or exacerbate!

Chakra 5a
You can see from the above post how each chakra has the influence over certain glands in the body. They each respond to different colour and also their own energy vibration. This is how the blocked chakras are healed, by sound, colour therapy and many other ways, which I will be writing in details in the coming articles, as to describe all 7 in one article is not possible πŸ™‚

Chakra 7
The chakras are also connected spiritually as they are energy. This is why we need to know about religion – to know how life works. Life is a very serious thing and not to be played with, we need to learn from those who are having higher knowledge and experience more than us. We cannot play with our lives or other’s lives as, “We are all governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness which are according to, “The Laws of The Universe” No one can escape these laws as, “We are all in the Universe. There is no place to run and hide! We are all responsible for our lives as well as to the well being of, “The whole wide world”!
I have been in the process of clearing my chakras in the past, and even more intensively in the past few weeks through prayers and meditation with the hope of – coming on to a very special event πŸ™‚ which will be revealed soon I hope as it has been a very long journey to polish up my wisdom. Praying, along with many others ways of therapeutic ways has helped me to become well and to be able to write to you all, “To give Hope and to feel you too can come up to be same as me” Why not? All human beings can achieve so much by hard work, dedication and sacrifice. So today I am able to share my knowledge and experiences to give Hope, and have the joy and satisfaction that I am contributing in my own small way to the well being of others in the society and the world πŸ™‚

That Thing called Stress !!!

Hello To My Dear Readers πŸ™‚

Thought of writing about stress. A common topic, a word but a real challenge to manage and overcome, but possible. Definition from the I net:

“A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances”

Stress 6a
Stress is not only at work but everywhere. It can be at home, with family, friends and even doing hobbies and during many things in everyday life. We can become stressed doing thing we do not like or even doing things we like to do. The difference is we try to go beyond what we can do, “its like running against time or going against the natural order” There is a pattern a timing for everything in life. True there are times that we do have to quicken our step in order to keep up with this fast moving world, but its not with everything and all the time. In life we have choices and we need to choose correctly πŸ™‚

Stress 4a
We need to prioritize in life on how we can manage what we have to do. We cannot do everything all the time. There are things we can and not do according to age limits. We have to accept what we can and cannot do. In short we need to learn to let go of the unnecessary and things we cannot change in life. There is always things we can do, and people whom we can have around who do not stress us. At least one or two good family or friends, who can understand and care for us. There is always jobs and life situations that we can fit into but there is always that exception. In that case we have to change the way we thing and take them as tests !!!

Stress 5a

None of us work 24/7 and there is always some free time to relax. Also relaxing does not need a lot of money either. Of course if one can have enough money to spend, there are many expensive ways to relax. But actually relaxing is becoming one with mother nature. The closer you become to mother earth, by ways of food clothes and living the closer you become to a stress free life. It is difficult to lead a complete stress free life in this present times. But there are plenty of simple way to relax and reduce our stress levels and enjoy a balanced and healthy life πŸ™‚

Stress 7
You can see from this chart many many things you can do in order to relax and relieve stress. You will also notice many things are about how to enjoy nature. We are part of The Universe hence part of Mother Earth. We need to live in ways that we are close to nature as much as possible. Even if you lead busy lives in the city, once in a way to go to the beach, rivers, parks, even a swim in a pool will bring your body closer to the natural state. Hope you read up and follow some of them as I do too πŸ™‚

The Power of Prayers!

Hello To My Dear Readers πŸ™‚

I have been thinking of writing this article for quite sometime, but somehow I never got to write until now. Its almost going to be a year since I started this blog and although there are many who follow this from Face Book there has been hardly any other bloggers connecting with me. One thing is I have not been connecting with other blogs myself, as well as when anything is new it takes time to grow !!!
So I have been really wanting to move further and feeling rather stuck not being able to progress to my satisfaction. Sometimes in life however much you try, things don’t happen exactly at the times you want. And its not always that we find people who can understand or advice how and when we want to. At these times, I turn to prayers or meditation πŸ™‚

Pray 2
Prayers and meditation are part of my life and I have now come to a stage that its like a need, almost like being in need of food. Whatever the time I listen my energy goes up, almost like charging a battery and I know when its enough too. As if over do it, I start to get an uncomfortable feeling, just like what you get when you are eating too much and I stop immediately !!!
I have finished my family duties and having stopped work, I have now dedicated myself fully to work towards the wellness and the welfare of mankind. So service is the Purpose of My Life now. I have always wanted to do service. But never thought this was how, as then there was no Inter net or never knew about mental illness !!!
See how life turns out to be. But I am extremely happy that this is what I am able to do. Giving out knowledge for free is the best thing one can ever do πŸ™‚
I have been praying for some time for more opportunities to spread out, and suddenly new doors open for you. I am unable to exactly say how, but for me as I keep on praying, suddenly things move, happen, at the most unexpected ways and in times. New chances come in. I have to mention the fact that, it has to be taken as however each person believes. It can be taken as God, The Higher Powers or The Laws of the Universe. As we all know, we are all under one set of rules. Only according to each person’s faith, the names and the faces are different πŸ™‚

I am a firm believer in the Strength and of the Healing Vibrations and Energy that comes through praying. As my healing from depression is greatly influenced by them. All prayers are with chosen good words, that give out good vibrations that gives good and healing energy. Its through extreme stress that most illnesses come in. Negative energy causes to deteriorate good health !!!

So I know now how to listen to peaceful vibrations that helps to calm me down or boost my mood with prayers that has strong vibrations. This can be achieved with good classical music too. As music is one of the best ways of relaxation to get over stress and calm you down, and with strong beat to lift your mood. The difference with prayers is that, they are beyond relaxation. As with Faith they give me guidance when I need and, strength during difficult times. It’s almost like holding on to some unseen source, or the mast of a ship in troubled seas. But we cannot just be praying and sitting around. While praying we need to do our part too. Have Faith and work hard towards what we want in life too πŸ™‚

We all know that even during times of crisis of others, people all over the world come together and pray for those affected. For sicknesses, for those who died and got wounded, and for peace. Recently I was challenged on health matters as then, I was asked, why should there be doctors if we can heal ourselves by praying. As I said we do not sit at home and wait for cures, we need to go for medical help too when its needed. Prayers are an additional boost as well as they help to keep you going. As we need to have Hope for anything in life. Faith in prayers is something that gives us that Hope. And not only for others, but something happens inside of us too. Also we hear ever so often of many illnesses being healed with the powers of prayers. I too have had this experience for someone in the family and myself and I believe in this situation it was a test of my faith. As I stood strong and held on to my faith and to the beliefs in all what I am doing πŸ™‚

I believe most people do some kind of praying from what ever religion they belong to. I am not going to tell anyone to do anything, but If any one of you do not, or not done so far you can try at times you feel you need some extra energy or strength, or meditating to calm yourself. Regarding myself, I have been taught from small days and been exposed to many religious activities according to our culture. As human beings none of are perfect and during our journey of growing up and then even up to our last breath, religion and prayers offer us, guidance, strength and above all peace at heart. The ultimate goal in our lives isn’t it πŸ™‚

I hope you have got some insight of the values and the powers of prayers and meditation for us as human beings. So far if any of you have not known I believe you have got some understanding ? Some belief Β ? What ever it is, this is how I think and do, and they have helped me immensely on my journey of healing and guided me and still being guided on the path I am going on πŸ™‚
