Ways To Happiness!

Hello To, All My Readers, Followers and Blogging Friends ❤

As usual I have to ask if you all are keeping in Good Health and Feeling Positive as much as Possible. And after writing about Happiness now I am going to write about, “Ways To Happiness” so that somehow, I want to make You all at least a little bit Happier as Your Happiness is also My Happiness as well. Agreed 😀

This is: Ways To Happiness:
1. Being Positive as Possible. Leads to Happy.
2. Once you feel Happy, You know how to try and create that feeling again.

So This is, “Project To Happiness”

  1. Eat Healthy: Keeping Hydrated (drinking enough water) other fruit or vegetable juices, Herbal drinks, Soups, Stews, whatever foods that are available. So that you get enough vitamins keep you strong and Healthy. If it is the season, so much going cheap.

2) Strength:
Not only physical strength You have To, build up “Mental Strength” to handle difficult situations and you come across issues.



3) Calmness:
1. You have to know how to relax and make yourself rest and feel Calm.

4) How to stay Calm: Relaxation: Being at ease:



5) Amusement:
1. Seek out humour. There can be outside places like parks where they are free and people doing various things.
2. Find things to keep you amused, like comedy. Can be TV, papers, Books or Magazines and the I net. Need not be new things enough old material or can draw yourself funny faces or pictures.
3. Make sure You are relaced and well rested. If you are tired, You cannot be smiling or laughing 🙂

6) Being Active: Although this says child it is for adults also.

7) Enthusiasm: See the picture below. So many things You can do other than these also.
1. To be enthusiastic about things, You like to do.
2.Find some project or a hobby even a charitable cause You can become uplifted and motivated.
3.Then start planning step by step towards achieving it.

8) Determination:
1. Being Determined to solve problems and achieve Your Goals makes You feel good.
2. You need a very clear idea, what you like to achieve.



9) Joy: The best thing for Joy is to to do things that you like to do, as much as possible. Together with friends or even staying at home.


10) Cheerfulness: When You are Feeling Positive, and feeling Happy Joyous and Cheerful You, “Transmit the Chemicals of Good Mood to Others too. This is why it being said, “To be around people who are Relaxed and Lead lives with Satisfaction and Value

Psychology ~ Eating!

I hope all those who are following and reading have made use of what I have been writing and moved on to the next levels in your life. Hope All of You are keeping in Good Health as much as possible. “Keeping yourself Positive and Motivated as Best as possible in these times” of Health issues. Last Post was about, “Psychology of Food”. This is an” Answer to a Lady who asked about Psychology of Eating by Hand or Spoon” Psychology ~ Food!

I am Grateful to her for the new Topic! So Today “I am writing about Psychology In Eating, “By Hand, Fork and Spoon, Chop sticks or any other way. Read and see and find out what and How You like to eat 😀

The Pros and Cons of Eating With Your Hands Its not in every culture but, “Parts of the world, eating with your hands is part of their culture”. Rice and Curry served on a Banana Leaf. I of course Love to eat like this as the food is much Tastier like this, But it is not possible to eat everything like this 🙂

Ayurveda considers hands to be our most precious organ of action, and gathering the fingertips as they touch the food stimulates the five elements (Ether or Space, Water, Air, Earth and Fire), making the person more conscious of the tastes, textures and smells of the foods they are eating, which makes the whole experience more pleasant. “According to Ayurvedic texts, each finger is an extension of one of the five elements. When you eat with your hands, you are supposed to do so by joining all fingers together. This is believed to improve our consciousness of the taste of the food we eat. Not only are you feeding your body, but also your mind and spirit.”

The practice of eating with the hands originated within Ayurvedic teachings. The Vedic people believed that our bodies are in sync with the elements of nature and our hands hold a certain power. Ayurvedic texts teach that each finger is an extension of one of the five elements:

  • Through the thumb comes space
  • Through the forefinger comes air
  • Through the mid-finger comes fire
  • Through the ring finger comes water
  • Through the pinky finger comes earth

When you eat with your hands, you are supposed to do so by joining all fingers together. This is believed to improve our consciousness of the taste of the food we eat. As I wrote before, “Not only are you feeding your body but also your mind and spirit”. When you touch your food with your hands, you’re creating a physical and spiritual connection with it. You’re also much more present in the moment. When food is touched with the hands, there’s automatically more careful attention placed on it – what the temperature is, how much you can carry, how the hand must be held in order to keep the food in it.

Eating with your hands requires you to be fully present. And a calm, aware state of mind allows optimum digestion and helps with not overeating. Also, while eating with fork and knife can become part of mechanical, perpetrated in front of the TV, when you eat with your fingers you feel more connected with your food. Not only does mindful eating improve the assimilation of nutrients from the food you eat, it also enhances digestion and make you leave the table with a calmer state of mind.

It engages all senses

The smell of your cooking fills your home. The feast looks appetizing. You hear how crunchy it is as you take that first bite. And of course it tastes delicious. But as far as feeling it, you’re limited to the textures you experience in your mouth. Eating with your hands adds a tactile dimension to your meal and engages all of your senses.

It helps providing our gut with healthy bacteria

As long as we wash them before eating, the skin of our hands is populated with healthy bacteria, known as normal flora, that can protect us from other harmful bacteria that come from the outside environment. Eating with your hands boost our gut’s natural immunity to environmental bacterial germs.

It prevents you from burning your palate and tongue

Our hands are very effective temperature sensors. When you eat with a fork, the food goes directly from the plate into your mouth, and you may not realize that’s too hot. When you touch our food with our hands instead, the nerve endings on your fingertips send a temperature reading to the stomach, effectively preventing you from scalding your tongue.

It forces you to do one thing at the time

The last benefit? With food all over your fingers, you are stuck doing one thing at a time, and when it’s time to eat you need to put down the phone and just relax and dine.

Benefits Our Chakras

As fingers place the food into the mouth, they tend to curve in a yogic mudra which stimulates the sensory organs that maintain the prana balance. According to Vedas, the fingertips are correlated to the third eye, heart, throat, solar plexus, sexual, root chakras. So, when we consume food with hands, the touch and action trigger the chakras and profits us tremendously.

It Is Natural

Eating with hands is a common practice in many cultures, especially Indian, because Indian cuisine is such that it feels like the most natural thing to do. Now imagine having dal and roti with fork and knife? Or trying to eat a non-vegetarian delicacy consisting of bones with a fork? It is quite impractical. Thus, hands are preferred over fine cutlery.

Increases Blood Circulation

Eating with hands is healthy as it can prove to be a wonderful muscle exercise that may in turn help in increasing blood circulation. The hand’s movements may assist in promoting better flow of blood, thus positively affecting the overall well-being of the body.

Discourages Overeating

Eating with hands may allow you to have your food slowly and deliberately which can help you feel full even with less food thus preventing binge eating and likely weight gain. It also encourages a sense of satiety or satisfaction which is lacking while using cutlery to have your food.

Drinking Soup!


There are many foods that cannot be eaten by Hands liquids like Soups, Desserts like Puddings Ice cream, and some foods that make a mess that cannot be held from the hands. Below is a boy eating Water Melon 🙂

Therapy ~ Art!

Hope All of You are keeping in Good Health as much as possible. Thought of writing about Colour Therapy.  Hope All of You are in Good Health, and “Keeping yourself Positive and Motivated as Best as possible in these times”. Today I am writing about How you can Relax with “Colouring” So it is Therapy to do with Colouring. Art groups and Mandalas – are all examples of something called ‘Art as Therapy’. The term ‘Art as Therapy’ captures the idea of Creativity being beneficial for our well-being!

What makes art as therapy so beneficial?

There are two Things to do with Art:
1. Art materials themselves can be soothing and enjoyable to look at and touch.
2. We can express ourselves in a non-verbal (without speaking) way.

Art materials

Using clay as an example, this material can help us feel grounded when we start to concentrate on the feeling and texture. The moment it is first touched clay in a session, they have a reaction of surprise as it is usually a lot colder than room temperature. Another curious but pleasing effect is seeing our fingerprints show up in the clay. This is a very tactile material, which can help relax you when you’re having a stressful day. There is something indescribably pleasurable about handmade pottery, both for the user of the vessel and the potter who makes it.

Below are, “Straw Berries” they are called as they are grown on the ground usually with straw, one thing is not for mud to get, other thing is to keep safe from Birds eating them 🙂

Making Colours with Fruits and Vegetables. You can take The Juice and colour with that also!

See how “The Carrot is cut to make patterns” You can use different colours too with it 🙂

You can take some paints from The colours that are being used to pant walls. Which are very cheap Painting!

See this is also Art. Patterns done with Stones of Different shapes and Colours.

Sea shells found free on “The Sea Beach” you can make patterns. Heart shape made of seashells on the beach:)

Art Therapy: “Art can show the very deepest part of us, where one does not speak. Colouring is a Great way to forget about worrying or Thinking too much.

This is if you like to Colour. Focusing(Concentrating) and staying quiet it is fun to spend time coloring with many different and Beautiful Colours. It can be any type of colouring. You can see many different colours, shapes, Patterns as you colour. With each stroke “Your Stress is taken off” 🙂

Expression:

Expression can help us feel better because, generally, we need to get things off our chest or mind. When we do this we clear mental space and make room for insight. Now we’ve briefly looked at why it could be beneficial, let’s look at some examples of art as therapy. Get ready because it can be so, so many things 🙂

  • art group – painting, clay work, knitting, etc.
  • journaling
  • mindful mandalas
  • destress colouring books
  • paint by numbers 
  • writing poems

Knitting is a method by which yarn is manipulated to create a textile, or fabric. It is used to create many types of garments. Knitting may be done by hand or by machine.

Knitting creates stitches: loops of yarn in a row, either flat or in the round (tubular). There are usually many active stitches on the knitting needle at one time. Knitted fabric consists of a number of consecutive rows of connected loops that intermesh with the next and previous rows. As each row is formed, each newly created loop is pulled through one or more loops from the prior row and placed on the gaining needle so that the loops from the prior row can be pulled off the other needle without unraveling.

Differences in yarn (varying in fibre type, weight, uniformity and twist), needle size, and stitch type allow for a variety of knitted fabrics with different properties, including color, texture, thickness, heat retention, water resistance, and integrity. A small sample of knitwork is known as a swatch.

The list goes on. Basically, any creative expression that you enjoy can be seen as ‘Art as Therapy’. That’s great that it can help people, but what about Art Therapy?

What is art therapy?

Art therapy is a mental health treatment, also known as “art psychotherapy“. It uses art materials to use expression alongside verbal communication, although in some cases it may be solely non-verbal (dependent on the client group). We may also simply find it easier to talk when the spotlight isn’t on us and we can play with some “Art Material” as we talk. We may also simply find it easier to talk when the spotlight isn’t on us and we can play with some clay as we talk. It can be helpful when it is hard to find the words to say how we are feeling or what we experienced.

Listed below are some of the key differences between art as therapy and art therapy.

Art as therapy:

  • You can do it alone or with others.
  • Can be combined with mindful practice for added benefit.
  • Any frequency – daily, weekly, etc.
  • Any medium – journaling All About Writing!, clay work, etc.
  • Art, expression and creativity are in lots of things we may enjoy that help our well-being – cooking, baking, walking, playing, dancing Hobbies ~ Do What You Really Like To Do!
  • It’s a form of self-care.

Art therapy:

  • A form of therapy also known as art psychotherapy.
  • A mental health treatment.
  • Always facilitated by a Art Psychotherapist
  • Usually sessions are one hour per week.
  • Can be one to one or in group sessions.
  • Nonthreatening form of communication.
