Slow Down, Relax, Take it Easy, Go Outside, Enjoy Life, Painting, Eating  Favourite Foods, Meditate, Journalling, Watching Funny Videos, You cannot or not Relevant for everything. So do, “The Things You Like and Can only” All depends on each person 🙂

I hope all of You are keeping in Good Health and Happy. To day I am writing about being fit and Healthy. “Exercises can help you to be fit and Healthy”. There are various ways of being active. It has to be, How it suits your, “Habits, Interests, Life styles and Personality”, and also how fit you are at that time of starting. Some do sports like Tennis, Netball, Golf, Foot Ball in specific places like a Gymnasium, Sports Clubs and Sport Grounds!

Making use of  Natural surrounding like “The Sea Beach, Rivers, Parks and even Mountains, Walking, Running, Climbing, Cycling and Swimming, can be done anywhere safe and free. Some take pleasure in doing House work, Keeping the House all neat and Tidy and even Gardening and Cooking and what ever activities that needs to be done around the house. You can see from the pictures below 🙂

“The Universal Energy” is also called “Healing or Pranic energy”. “Prana” is a Sanskrit word that means “life force“, “chi” in China and “ki” in Japan. Energy healing” include Reiki, Reflexology, Kinesiology. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Pranic Healing is a highly developed and tested system of energy based a no-touch healing technique that utilizes “Prana” to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes.

You cannot see this energy but you can certainly feel it’s power. The Sun is just one example of the Universal energies which plays a significant role in our lives. The role of Universal energy in your life is defined as you give direction to the energy through your intentions and desires. Universal energy is the energy that sustains life, providing vital energy to all living systems. The whole Universe, starting from the stars in the sky to the atoms that create them, including the world we live in and our bodies, everything we see or do, is made up of the Universal Energy, at the most fundamental level

Pranic Healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes prana or ki or life energy to heal the whole physical body. Prana or ki is the life force or life energy that keeps the body alive and healthy. In India its called Prana. In greek it is called pneumahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pneuma.
In Polynesian mana, and in Hebrew it is called ruah, which means breath of life. The healer projects prana or life energy to the patient, thereby healing the patient. It is through this process that the so-called “miraculous healing” is accomplished.

Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. This is done using specific thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, that such work on the feet and hands causes a physical change to the supposedly related areas of the body.

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Reiki was founded by a Japanese Buddhist monk named Mikao Usui.

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human body movement. The Gift of Healing ~ My Grandfather!

Hope All of You are keeping well and Happy. As usual I am keeping in Good Health and moving forward doing my usual, activities. As I have written that I have received, “The Gift of Healing” some were unable to really understand “Exactly from whom and how I have received “The Gift”! Early life and education:
Gabriyal Perera Wickramarachchi (Sinhala: ජී. පී. වික්‍රමආරච්චි; 28 September 1889 – 29 March 1975) also known as Ayurveda Chakravarti Pandit Wickramarachchi was a distinguished eminent Ceylonese Ayurvedic physician, author, linguist, senator, lawyer (notary), lecturer and a philanthropist who founded Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya which later became Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute of University of Kelaniya.

Wickramarachchi was born on 28 September 1889 in Nadungamuwa Gampaha as the third son of the family to (above) Velum Perera Wickramarachchi, an indigenous medical practitioner and his wife Sara Nona Dharmawathi. He received his primary education at Henegama Government School and secondary education at Uttharamulla Pirivena. He entered the Vidyodaya Pirivena in circa.1909 and graduated in oriental languages in 1913 with the title Rajakiya Pandit. In 1917 he sat for the notary exam and became a notary, in that same year he won a scholarship to Jamini Bhushan Ray Ashtanga Ayurvedic Vidyalaya in Calcutta. After three years of studying there he earned his degree of LAMS (Hons) in 1920 and the degree of Kaviranjan from Kaliya Ayurveda Bavan in 1921.

Pandit Wickramarachchi started his professional career at Gampaha and became the most brilliant Ayurvedic Physician at that era. He established Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya in 1929 and maintained the Vidyalaya at his own expenses and no fees were charged from the students even for lodging. Pandit Wickramarachchi started the medicine factory attached to the Vidyalaya in the 1930s (1932 or 1934).

Wickramarachchi Veda Ralahami was a well disciplined devout Buddhist and rendered his service as the Editor of Sinhala Bauddhaya from 1914 to 1917 in request of the Buddhist revival leader Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala.

His contribution for Journals, Magazines and Newspapers was enormous. He wrote five to six books on Ayurveda medicines and a route to a healthy life, even today some of his books such as “Bojana Sangrahaya”, “Lakdiva Raktha Roga Sangarahaya” are extremely popular books among the Ayurvedic medical practitioners and consider them as classics.

The Government of Ceylon in 1957 nominated him as a member of the Council of Senate, in appreciating his services. Considering his professional career, the Vidyodaya University of Ceylon granted him the Degree of Ayurveda Chakravarti in 1960 and later on he was the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Vidyodaya University. He extended his service for 46 years in the Gampaha Siddhayurveda Vidyalaya until 1975.

As we know, energy can travel. “Prayer energy which also can be called Healing Energy” can travel far and wide to distant places too. How I am My Path was Born!

Hello To All My Dear Readers ❤

I hope all of you are keeping Well and Happy. I wish to be so. There are enough facts and figures going on so I need not add to all that. My Wish was always,”To Leave A Heart Print of Healing Energy as I walked along for “Good Health” and to be “Spreading Happiness and Joy to Everyone” ❤ ❤ ❤

I love Beautiful pictures and Quotations. After I started Face Book, in 2011, Happiness Quotes was Born on The 24th August 2012. I created “Happiness Quotes page” to post, Happy and Bright pictures with Positive quotations of, Hope,Wisdom, Courage, Faith and Love. At “The Beginning” I had to learn “How to share a post itself” and then slowly “I Learnt to write on pictures” As I progressed, I found that I was getting over the Low Moods and started to become more Positive and Happier. And then slowly, “I started writing my Experiences and Knowledge of my journey of becoming well”. Without my being aware, Going through so much of Colourful and Uplifting Pictures and Quotations, I had been Uplifting Myself also and had become Very Positive. At the same time I also “Trained as an “ESL Tutor in (English as A Second Language)” and started working in TAFE (Technical And Further Education). I got this need to study further and, I started to study, on line and did Two Courses, “Personnel Development and Natural Health and Healing” through MSA (Monash University Student Association ~Training and Professional Development). I did these very well and then, started to study for A Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I wanted more Knowledge and to feel doing something to advance myself as well as, “Most importantly I wanted to show that, “People can overcome so called low moods and can concentrate and study and achieve Higher standards of Life to be Happy and Health and able to lead Normal Lives again!

As I was studying, I needed to put my mind fully on the course and found my Mind going along “The Path of Healing” that was taking me away from being a Tutor of English. Besides I have been teaching English for a very Long time, starting with my sons and then, once they were grown up, I started teaching the children around my home, and doing the same thing was not all that interesting and Health and Healing became “More important”, That I stopped being a Tutor and became fully involved myself in to studying. In a way, The course itself was quite advanced and I needed to concentrate and put my mind fully into studying the notes, “The Theory part of it also”. Actually this was the “Best thing that happened to me, as I really learnt so much about the, “Theories and Techniques of Counseling and below are The Main Theories that I studied”:

1.) Psychoanalytic Therapy
2.) Adlerian Therapy
3.) Existential Therapy
4.) Person-Centered Therapy
5.) Gestalt Therapy
6.) Behavior Therapy
7.) Cognitive Behavior Therapy

All these really helped me while I was studying, as not only the theory part but, I had to answer my own way of “dealing with certain other clients issues. How I would go about counseling them, in real life. The last Therapy, ” The Constructivist Approach to Cognitive Behavior Therapy ~ By Dr. Donald Meichenbaum, was what really worked for me, Like The cherry on The Cake” 🙂

Dr. Donald Meichenbaum: Born10 June 1940 (age 79 years), New York, New York, United States is an American psychotherapist . He is considered one of the founders of cognitive behavioral therapy . He attended from 1954 to 1958, the Taft High School in New York City and then 1958-1962, the City College of New York . From 1962 to 1966 he studied at the University of Illinois in Urbana . From 1966 to 1969 he was Assistant Professor of Psychology, University of Waterloo , Ontario , 1970-1973 Associate Professor of Psychology and from 1974 to 1998 Meichenbaum was Professor of Psychology in Waterloo. In 1996, he became director of the Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment in Miami , Florida. He was voted one of the Ten Most Influential Psychotherapists of the Century by North American Therapists in a 1999 American Psychologist Survey . One of the, “Therapeutic tasks” is to help clients appreciate how they construct their realities and how, “They Author their own stories” 🙂

In this way, “Clients can Move from being Clients to ~ “Strong Willed Survivors” and “Successful People ~ Dr. Donald Meichenbaum, Ph.D.

Dr. Meichenbaum uses these questions to evaluate the “Outcome of, “The Therapy”:
1. Are clients now able to tell, “A New Story about themselves and the World”?
2. Do clients now use more Positive Metaphors to Describe Themselves?
3. Are clients now able to “Predict high-risk situations and Employ Coping Skills in emerging problems”?
4. Are clients able to “Take Credit for the changes, “They have been able to bring about”?

In Successful Therapy Clients, “Develop Their Own Voices Take Pride in what They have Accomplished, and “Take Ownership of The Changes they are bringing about”. In short, “CLIENTS BECOME THEIR OWN THERAPISTS and TAKE THE THERAPISTS VOICE WITH THEM” 🙂

At The same times I have been, Praying and Meditating intensely since a very very long time. My wish was to, receive, “The ability to Heal” what I was asking was for Protection and for Guidance and Blessings, “To be able to Think, Say and Do ~ The correct Thing Every step of the Way” I was aware, “That My Maternal Grandfather had this Very Rare Gift of Healing, “Coming down through The Generations, and even My Great Grandfather was an,”Ayurvedic Physician himself.

And as “Eldest of The Grand children I had the good Luck to be able to” spend my school holidays with My Grandparents in their Home, and was able to watch even My Grand Father seeing Patients on certain days, when I used to go to pick him up, seated near the door, until he finished the last of the patients in the night” At that time I was not really aware, “What This Healing Gift was, But what I wanted was to, “To do service like him and My Grandmother, in giving which is, Being Dedicated for Pure Service” Little did I know, “That somehow what My Grandfather was doing “Had gone in to my mind at that time and as I was moving along, “Little by little I was Reading and Trying to Understand what it was”!

It was then I started reading up and also studying Natural Health and Healing, that I started getting energy into My Hands and a friend who was A Spiritual Healer herself asked if My Hands became warm when I came across someone who was not well. And also mentioned that it was, “My Grandfather’s Energy and also suggested some reading material to me”. Then on I gradually I began to to understand more and more and finally I did begin to feel, “My Hands getting Energy at certain times even when I was writing on This Blog” and also when some of them needed Healing Energy” meaning I had, “Received the, “Gift of Healing to Both my Hands”!

I have been wanting to write about the benefits of Dancing for a long time. As it is described as the “Best method of Relaxing and getting over stress” Because you Dance with Music and almost all of your mind is on the feeling of Moving to nice Music. “Dance is the most fundamental of all art forms. Dance is a Physical and Mental workout. Dance Stimulates the Mind and Body. It’s proven to increase Cognitive strengths and helps to have good health. That is the Miracle of Dance” 🙂

Until I write about them, I thought of posting the picture quotes and a “Beautiful video of Dancing the Waltz” might be a good distraction at this time, “As all are having to stay at home, and even if you do or do not Dance yourself, “It is so enjoyable to watch and Relax” I do Hope you all find this article Educative as well as Enjoyable 🙂
