Hope All of You are keeping well and Happy. As usual I am keeping in Good Health and moving forward doing my usual, activities. I began Writing an article on Publishing as I am an Author and also a Publisher. That I decided to rewrite some of the old articles with added knowledge and the changes The world has gone through and I wrote about “Languages and that went on to quite a few posts on that and I came upon Speech Therapy Because of that I wrote about CBT Therapy. And now a lighter subject “”Music Therapy!

Music therapy is a form of treatment that uses music within the therapeutic relationship to help accomplish the patient’s individualized goals. This evidence-based approach involves techniques such as listening to, reflecting on, and creating music under the guidance of a trained music therapist. It’s not necessary to have a musical background to benefit from music therapy. People of all ages, from children to adults, may find it is a good fit for their therapeutic needs.


When It’s Used

Music therapy is often practiced one-on-one, but it can also be used in group settings, such as a correctional facility, It is generally most effective when used in combination with other therapies. Music therapy can help people manage variety of health conditions.

Music can also have powerful effects on a person’s psychological health. It can influence anyone’s mood, causing a range of effects from providing comfort to soothing to boosting energy. Studies have shown that music therapy can be particularly helpful for people who have stress.

Other psychological benefits of music therapy include:

  • Increasing joy
  • Reducing anxiety
  • Regulating emotions, particularly difficult ones
  • Facilitating self-reflection

How It Works

People have long appreciated the healing power of music. Music therapy continues to feel more confident, joyful, and connected. people can still enjoy these benefits, as music can stir emotion, prompt discussion, facilitate expression, and lower stress. Music is processed and produced through a different pathway than verbal speech; bypassing that pathway allows patients to express themselves, communicate with loved ones, and experience the world more vibrantly.


What to Expect

After an initial assessment, a therapist will tailor techniques to fit a client’s musical ability, interests, and specific needs. One approach is to create music—humming a nostalgic tune from one’s childhood, singing as part of a choir, or improvising on instruments such as the drums, piano, guitar, or chimes.

If the client is able to discuss the experience, a therapist might ask what memories the sounds provoke or what they’re feeling. The pair might listen to a song together and discuss the emotions and memories the song. Or the client might write a song, which can illuminate a character or issue in their lives. The therapist could engage the client in breathing exercises, with or without music, to release tension and calm anxiety.

All of these exercises allow the therapist and client to explore the psychological, familial, social, cultural, and spiritual components of the person’s inner world. And clients don’t need to have any musical training or talent; the practice doesn’t focus on technical skills but employs music as a tool for reflection and communication.

What to Look for in a Music Therapist

While music therapy may not be a helpful approach for everyone, many people have found it beneficial Seeking out a therapist with whom the client feels a connection is also valuable. Creating a strong foundation of trust and appreciation can help an individual embrace the process and find success in therapy.

You may want to ask the music therapist a few questions before getting started:

  • How would they help with your particular concerns?
  • Have they dealt with this type of problem before?
  • What is their process?
  • What is their timeline for treatment?

Fresh Beginning!

Hello To My Readers, Followers and Blogging Friends ❤

Looking back it seems so long ago since I have been here and some people seems to have some strange ideas and ways. Over the years so much have changed, that I thought of writing of a Fresh Beginning!


As usual do hope you are keeping well. I thought of writing a post again for those of you who are waiting for a new article. You ever thought of pressing the “Reset Button” and start again? I have been writing that after more than 11 years this is what I am trying to do now. So that I have more time instead of having to dust and be arranging too many things and save time and energy. And let some others who can make use of what I don’t need any more.

You can “Let Go” some things as Time goes by you will not want the same old things you have had in the past. Things like old diaries, books magazines as well as plates cups and things if you have which you are not using.


Each one of you can do the way you can or want. In my case I like to Give away (Donate) free. Some of you might need a little bit of cash to buy new, so sell, so that would be all right, as money is not easy to come by. You can buy fewer things how you need 🙂

I was trying to make a “Gift Corner” in my sitting room Starting with a secondhand chair and some Basket. as anyone who comes can pick free what they see and like. But there are very few who come (as I live in a security complex) to deliver my groceries when I am unable to go, and it’s not everyone whom I can ask. You will be surprised what things might have once you start. These are things that are still good, and some others can be useful now Well I realized Gifts have to be new and they go under: Donations. I also have done posts on Donations Donations

In a way I have been doing something different. As when donated, they sell, and I wanted to give free. So, I have been leaving stuff here and there and in shopping carts. (Not so much, as above also don’t want to show what I put, as even some of them will be reading my website) Sometimes food sometimes clothes) This I have been doing from a long time. I always have things like popcorn or biscuits for The Crows and birds (where I put them in a corner outside) as they cannot find food on their own all the time. This is something I do daily at home. I don’t like to write but in gratitude for the “Healing Energies I buy bread and even fruits. And takes about two hours even in rain and the freezing cold in my small back garden May be later might post a picture it is like a small Zoo 🙂

Now this is all for you. As all my not need decluttering instead do some Fresh start writing (Journalling). To write some ideas for yourself. Journaling! You can even print it out and keep somewhere. Write like notes even some other things. Even like a little Diary. As above say jot down your thoughts. May be one or even a few copies. Flowers and even those who like birds They are “Very Pretty 🙂

From time to time “You can suddenly remember or something said or seen on TV or books or even a Tune can take you back to a memory which is not pleasant” These cannot be helped. It is not possible to live in an environment “completely free of any negative thoughts” Writing Journaling! Journaling (Writing) The Power of Hand Writing!
