Potato is a vegetable.
Potato’s roots trace back to Peru where the Incas natives were the first to grow the crop.

Potato is also known as a spud.

Beetroot leaves are edible. Many chefs include beetroot leaf recipes in their cookbooks and most recommend eating the more tender young leaves, as the older leaves taste bitter.
