I  hope all of you are keeping well. Today I am writing about “Confidence” ” hope you all will like what I am writing. Confidence is a belief in oneself, the conviction that one has the ability to meet life’s challenges and to succeed—and the willingness to act accordingly. Being confident requires a realistic sense of one’s capabilities and feeling secure in that knowledge. Projecting confidence helps people gain credibility, make a strong first impression, deal with pressure, and tackle personal and professional challenges. It’s also an attractive trait, as confidence helps put others at ease.

It is a Very important Quality to Build Up and have “Confidence”. It means you accept and trust yourself and have a sense of control in your life. You know your strengths and weakness well, and have a positive view of yourself. You set realistic expectations and goals, communicate assertively.

“Self Confidence is a Quality about Yourself having Confidence of yourself.t is a Very important Quality to Build Up and have “Self Confidence”. Having high or low self-confidence is rarely related to your actual abilities, and mostly based on your perceptions. Perceptions are the way your think about yourself and these thoughts can be changed

How to Build Up Confidence:

Confidence is not an innate, fixed characteristic. It’s an ability that can be acquired and improved over time. Social confidence can be developed by practicing in social settings. Individuals can observe the structure and flow of any conversation before jumping in, and they can prepare questions or topics to discuss ahead of time. one can gain a sense of confidence from personal and professional accomplishments. Continuing to set and meet goals can enable the belief that one is competent and capable.

How can I improve my confidence on a daily basis?

Being confident means knowing that you can handle the emotional outcome of whatever you’ll face. Begin by acknowledging every emotion, including difficult emotions, rather than avoiding them. Speaking up for yourself, and other strategies can help build emotional strength and confidence.

How To Increase Your Self-Confidence

  • Recognize and emphasize your strengths. Reward and praise yourself for your efforts and progress.
  • When you stumble on an obstacle, treat yourself with kindness and compassion.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals. Do not expect perfection.
  • Slow down when you are feeling intense emotions and think logically about the situation.
  • Challenge making assumptions about yourself, people and situations.
  • Recognize that past negative life experiences do not dictate your future.
  • Express your feelings, beliefs and needs directly and respectfully
  • Learn to say no to unreasonable requests.

Hope you all have started the New Year well and in Good Health. This the 1st post and I thought very fitting to begin the New Year, as although I started with my journey it became a a almost lifetime of work and very much more. Much more than I can imagine. And I have achieved my Goal of giving Faith and Hope for so many people around the World 🙂

Blogs have become a potent platform for people to share their ideas, knowledge, and expertise with the world in the age of digital communication. Potential theories of blog psychology may include the readers’ perception, cognition, and humanistic components in regard to their experience to consuming blogs. Blog psychologists may also draw upon developmental and narrative psychologies and emerging findings from cyberpsychology. The theories and research in psychology could be used as the backbone of blog psychology and guide the discipline itself.

Above are some of the different Blogs as you see. Some can be used to earn money too!

1.Self-Expression: At its core, blogging is a platform for self-expression. Humans have an innate need to share their experiences, ideas, and emotions, and blogs provide a space where they can do so freely.
2.Building a Digital Identity: In an increasingly connected world, personal branding and digital identity have gained immense significance. Blogs allow individuals to shape their online persona by curating content that reflects their values, interests, and expertise.
3.Therapeutic Outlet: The act of writing has long been recognized as a therapeutic outlet. Blogs offer a platform for individuals to externalize their thoughts, and hopes, which can be particularly valuable for those who might find difficult with traditional forms of self-expression. Sharing personal stories of overcoming challenges, mental health issues, or simply navigating life’s ups and downs can not only be helpful for the writer but also provide solace and relatability to readers facing similar situations.
4: Creativity and Growth: Blogging is creative research, and the art of storytelling. The process of translating thoughts into blog posts encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. Change of Name!

Hello To, All My Dear Readers, Followers, and Blogging Friends ❤

Hello how are you all I Wish You Good Health, Happiness and Prosperity as always. You may be wondering Why “The Change of Name” Its because Sri Lanka Then Ceylon was under Portuguese, Dutch and Britain (U.K). So because of these, I have found out I have Portuguese, Dutch French and German Ancestors, in the names of “William Jones. Down the Generation!

This is “Spain, Portugal and France” above and below. Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and Madrid is the Capital in Spain. Paris is the capital of France.

Flowers! These are the purple Bougainvillea flowers.

Can be grown in pots or ground and in different colours. We have them in Sri Lanka I believe they have been brought from Portugal or Spain.

Foods:

Pente Frito: Fried Comb!

I found this Portuguese Recipe from Ceylon recipe from Ceylon Daily News Cookery Book – it turned out quite good and I have the satisfaction of making something different from the usual cupcake cookie round. Its proved a popular teatime snack.

2 cups flour

1 tbls sugar

1 tbls margarine

2 egg yolks

About a cup of milk

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Put the flour, sugar and salt into a bowl add the yolks and enough milk to form a stiffish paste and knead with your hand until quite smooth. Take small portions of the paste, roll them into balls and then make fancy shapes – my personal favorite is an attempt at a snail shell shape. Doesn’t work, but I have fun. Fry in batches till golden brown. Don’t let it get too dark. Drain and then coat with the Sugar Syrup. For the sugar syrup just the put the sugar and water into a saucepan and boil till thick (add a bit more water if needed). Flavor with vanilla and then add the fried pente frito and stir it around to coat well!




I found this also from Ceylon Daily News Cookery Book – it turned out quite good and I have the satisfaction of making something different.


Waffles or Pancakes.

2 cups flour

1 table spoon sugar

1 table spoon Margerine

2 egg yolks

About a cup of milk

Salt to taste

Oil for frying. So that they dont stick to the pan.


You can make them in a ordinary pan also. Only its the same mixture a little thicker. Eaten with sugar and Lime or Lemon juice Jams or Savoury whatever you like 🙂

If you go camping or it can be tastier on food fire. You can use a iron plate like this and any thickness you like. Actually, I prefer natural way of cooking and more tasty and enjoyable eating outdoors like this. When I make some later, I will post a picture I eat with Lemon or Lime juice whatever I have at that time and sugar rolled. And at the beginning I keep on eating until I am full 😀

Psychology Of Calm ~ 2!

Hello how are you all I Wish You Good Health, Happiness and Prosperity as always. Here is the second part of Calm with some questions and work sheets., however some of you want to do. Now that “I Am My Path has been recognized as “Professional Counselling, you be Happy You will have all my Experiences and better knowledge 😀

    1.Think of a time when you didn’t feel Relaxed and Calm!
    2.How did you feel during and after that time?
    3. How did others feel, who were around you?
    4.You can discuss with them better ways of being Calm!
    5.And come to an answer how to do deal in a better way!
