Hope All of You are keeping in Good Health as much as possible. And “Keeping yourself Positive and Motivated as Best as possible in these times”. I have been writing about Various way of Therapies to Become Well” And today I am writing about The Therapies itself, and with much more Positive feelings at this time of my Life with “Healing Energies I am receiving” ❤

Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss in some ways; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety. There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy may be used in combination with medication or other therapies.

Therapy Sessions: Therapy may be conducted in an individual, family, or group setting and can help both children and adults. Both patient and Therapist need to be actively involved in Psychotherapy. The trust and relationship between a person and his or he therapist is essential to be working together effectively and benefitting from psychotherapy.

Psychotherapy can be short-term (a few sessions), dealing with immediate issues, or long-term (months or years), dealing with longstanding and complex issues. The goals of treatment and arrangements for how often and how long to meet are planned jointly by the patient and therapist. Confidentiality is a basic requirement of psychotherapy. Also, although patients share personal feelings and thoughts, intimate physical contact with a therapist is never appropriate, acceptable, or useful.

Psychotherapy and Medication

Psychotherapy is often used in combination with medication to treat mental health conditions. In some circumstances medication may be clearly useful and in others psychotherapy may be the best option. For many people combined medication and psychotherapy treatment is better than either alone. Healthy lifestyle improvements, such as good nutrition, regular exercise and adequate sleep, can be important in supporting recovery and overall wellness.

Does Psychotherapy Work?

Research shows that most people who receive psychotherapy experience symptom relief and are better able to function in their lives. About 75 percent of people who enter psychotherapy show some benefit from it. 1 Psychotherapy has been shown to improve emotions and behaviors and to be linked with positive changes in the brain and body. The benefits also include fewer sick days, less disability, fewer medical problems, and increased work satisfaction.

With the use of brain imaging techniques researchers have been able to see changes in the brain after a person has undergone psychotherapy. Numerous studies have identified brain changes in people with mental illness (including depression, panic disorder, PTSD and other conditions) as a result of undergoing psychotherapy. In most cases the brain changes resulting from psychotherapy were similar to changes resulting from medication.

To help get the most out of psychotherapy, approach the therapy as a collaborative effort, be open and honest, and follow your agreed upon plan for treatment. Follow through with any assignments between sessions, such as writing in a journal or practicing what you’ve talked about.

Writing helps to know yourself better. To find out who you are, what makes you happy and Joyful and to know what your Talents and Gifts are are. Through this you clarify your thoughts and feelings. Writing or journaling is the best way to organize yourself ❤

Hope All of You are keeping in Good Health as much as possible. Thought of writing about Colour Therapy.  Hope All of You are in Good Health, and “Keeping yourself Positive and Motivated as Best as possible in these times”. Today I am writing about How you can Relax with “Colouring” So it is Therapy to do with Colouring. Art groups and Mandalas – are all examples of something called ‘Art as Therapy’. The term ‘Art as Therapy’ captures the idea of Creativity being beneficial for our well-being!

What makes art as therapy so beneficial?

There are two Things to do with Art:
1. Art materials themselves can be soothing and enjoyable to look at and touch.
2. We can express ourselves in a non-verbal (without speaking) way.

Art materials

Using clay as an example, this material can help us feel grounded when we start to concentrate on the feeling and texture. The moment it is first touched clay in a session, they have a reaction of surprise as it is usually a lot colder than room temperature. Another curious but pleasing effect is seeing our fingerprints show up in the clay. This is a very tactile material, which can help relax you when you’re having a stressful day. There is something indescribably pleasurable about handmade pottery, both for the user of the vessel and the potter who makes it.

Below are, “Straw Berries” they are called as they are grown on the ground usually with straw, one thing is not for mud to get, other thing is to keep safe from Birds eating them 🙂

Making Colours with Fruits and Vegetables. You can take The Juice and colour with that also!

You can take some paints from The colours that are being used to paint walls. Which are very cheap Painting!

See this is also Art. Patterns done with Stones of Different shapes and Colours.

Art Therapy: “Art can show the very deepest part of us, where one does not speak. Colouring is a Great way to forget about worrying or Thinking too much.

This is if you like to Colour. Focusing(Concentrating) and staying quiet it is fun to spend time coloring with many different and Beautiful Colours. It can be any type of colouring. You can see many different colours, shapes, Patterns as you colour. With each stroke “Your Stress is taken off” 🙂

Expression:

Expression can help us feel better because, generally, we need to get things off our chest or mind. When we do this we clear mental space and make room for insight. Now we’ve briefly looked at why it could be beneficial, let’s look at some examples of art as therapy. Get ready because it can be so, so many things 🙂

  • art group – painting, clay work, knitting, etc.
  • journaling
  • mindful mandalas
  • destress colouring books
  • paint by numbers 
  • writing poems

Knitting is a method by which yarn is manipulated to create a textile, or fabric. It is used to create many types of garments. Knitting may be done by hand or by machine.

Knitting creates stitches: loops of yarn in a row, either flat or in the round (tubular). There are usually many active stitches on the knitting needle at one time. Knitted fabric consists of a number of consecutive rows of connected loops that intermesh with the next and previous rows. As each row is formed, each newly created loop is pulled through one or more loops from the prior row and placed on the gaining needle so that the loops from the prior row can be pulled off the other needle without unraveling.

Differences in yarn (varying in fibre type, weight, uniformity and twist), needle size, and stitch type allow for a variety of knitted fabrics with different properties, including color, texture, thickness, heat retention, water resistance, and integrity. A small sample of knitwork is known as a swatch.

The list goes on. Basically, any creative expression that you enjoy can be seen as ‘Art as Therapy’. That’s great that it can help people, but what about Art Therapy?

What is art therapy?

Art therapy is a mental health treatment, also known as “art psychotherapy“. It uses art materials to use expression alongside verbal communication, although in some cases it may be solely non-verbal (dependent on the client group). We may also simply find it easier to talk when the spotlight isn’t on us and we can play with some “Art Material” as we talk. We may also simply find it easier to talk when the spotlight isn’t on us and we can play with some clay as we talk. It can be helpful when it is hard to find the words to say how we are feeling or what we experienced.

Listed below are some of the key differences between art as therapy and art therapy.

Art as therapy:

  • You can do it alone or with others.
  • Can be combined with mindful practice for added benefit.
  • Any frequency – daily, weekly, etc.
  • Any medium – journaling All About Writing!, clay work, etc.
  • Art, expression and creativity are in lots of things we may enjoy that help our well-being – cooking, baking, walking, playing, dancing Hobbies ~ Do What You Really Like To Do!
  • It’s a form of self-care.

Art therapy:

  • A form of therapy also known as art psychotherapy.
  • A mental health treatment.
  • Always facilitated by a Art Psychotherapist
  • Usually sessions are one hour per week.
  • Can be one to one or in group sessions.
  • Nonthreatening form of communication.

Relaxing ~ For Kids!

Dear Readers Followers and Blogging Friends ❤

I thought of doing a post for the young ones as “They are also facing a lot of Changes and Challenges”. As they are also facing different conditions, some having to do schoolwork from The I net and being home. Parents working in different ways or doing work from home ❤


You can see The Reasons for Reading and for The Children: They can find so many Different Ways of knowing places, people and information.

Even Reading alone. Or One of the best and most powerful ways to reflect is through writing, and in that – ‘Journaling’ as it is more structured. As you put your thoughts on paper on a regular basis, you slowly being to de-clutter your mind and bring things into perspective leading to self awareness, clarify, and inner peace.

Playing Music Alone or with Group or with Friends. The right music has the power to take away all your worries. Create a playlist of your favorite relaxing tracks and listen to it whenever you like. A drum circle is where a bunch of people sit around and play drums. You can gather your like minded friends and make a your own drum circle or join a drum circle happening in and around you. The rhythmic vibrations created by these drums playing in unison can be very therapeutic or Relaxing ❤

There are lots of things to do in a park. Go to a nearby park and watch other children play. They might even ask you to join. Can you see “A Park with Lots children Playing” One girl Flying A Kite. Near that, “A Boy pushing a Girl on a swing. Left “A Girl sliding down a Mat Slide”. Down “Two Girls Playing with Sand” Right Side Below “A Girl and A Boy going Up and Down on A See Saw” Now Can you see how many Things Others are doing and if You can Count and see what you Know and “How Many Children are there in the Park? ❤

See there are lots of things to do in a park. Go to a nearby park and watch other children play. They might even ask you to join. It can be, Different seasons. Tune into their carefree energy.

Do what ever possible. Sit on a swing and start swinging. Feel the air on your skin and enjoy the soothing to and for movements. It need not be a park itself. Any strong tree anywhere safe is all you need. The rocking movements that a swing creates will relax you. Hanging swing seats (hammock or chairs).

Rocking chairs are also a good option as they provide similar soothing movements. Its A Very Big Rocking Chair. Lot of you can sit on it Rock together 😛 You can listen to the birds chirping too at home or outside. Tune into their free energy.

Above see “Tie a hammock in between the trees and “Take A Nap”. Below Different seasons. Different things to do 🙂

Girl and boy and the four seasons. This is Winter where You can Make snowmen but only where you live You have Winter and becomes very cold you get Snow. Making snow men out of snow.

Walk around where you live. Stop and smell the flowers. Don’t just make small observations, but be fully present and look deeply, get into the minor details.

If you have a little space, or even planting in some containers, as “Indoor plants” “Gardening is the best way to connect with mother earth’. Planting, raking leaves or even just pulling out weeds can have a calming influence on the mind.

Work in your garden barefooted to get the benefits of grounding or earthing. Or even walk around where you live. Let the soles of your feet get directly in touch with mother earth by walking or standing barefoot.

This practice known as ‘grounding’ is said to have various health benefits. Studies suggest that it helps reduce stress. Think of (Consider) walking barefoot on the beach or in a garden. Walk on dry leaves. The crackling or rustling sounds. This can be a deeply relaxing activity during the fall season.

Don’t just make small observations, but be fully present and look deeply, get into the minor details.

Making A snowman out of snow. You have to wear very warm clothes as it is very cold when snow falls 🙂

Different seasons so doing different activities!

Go for a swim if possible and with Family or with an adult. Swimming, especially in natural lakes can be extremely relaxing. But even if you don’t have a lake nearby and your only option is chlorine treated water, it can still give you all the benefits. You can still Play around in the water, float in it, feel the water and listen to the water as you swim. Parents engaged in kids learning. Mother and father teaching children walking, swimming, riding bicycle, reading. So there are other activities to do, when your parents or other family members are free. Or it can be A Coach or even a Teacher!

Near the sea and on the Beach it is all free. You can Play around in the water, float in it, feel the water and listen to the water as you swim. You can also use a flotation product like an air mat or pool tube and enjoy a relaxing float in the water 🙂

A beach is free for all, and listen to the waves, walk along the shores, feel the breeze, build sand castles and collect sea shells. Walking on a beach has many known benefits in addition to helping you release stress.

Sing or dance. Put on your favorite music and move your body to the rhythm. You can get together with Friends and make it fun. Don’t focus on how you are dancing. Instead, let go, lose yourself to the rhythm and let the rhythm guide you. Moving your body this way helps deeply relax your mind and body. Or learn to play a musical instrument like guitar, ukulele or a piano. Playing music is fun and can be an excellent stress reliever. You can easily learn the basics using the countless tutorials available on the internet.

Getting on with your Daily Routine. To feel clean and Fresh. A hot or cold shower, can be extremely relaxing to your mind and body.

Spend time with a pet. If you don’t have one, you can play or take a friend’s pet for a walk. Petting a dog or cat or rabbit or any other furry animal can feel highly relaxing ❤

Treehouses are Free playing if there are Trees near by. Need not be high up even beneath the trees, and even have a few biscuits and some drink Hot or Cold how the weather is like a picnic.

Paint your imagination: It does not matter if you are good at painting or not. Just take out a watercolor paper (or simply use any blank paper), a paintbrush, some watercolors and paint what comes to your mind. Express yourself. You can even use sketch pens, color pencils or crayons


Adult coloring books are a good option too. You can draw a simple Mandala. As it is popular these days. No need of books itself You can see on the I net or just imagine one on your own. A little info about mandalas. Mandala is a Sanskrit word loosely meaning circle. They have been created by people from different religions for centuries. They are intricate, repeating geometric shapes that make up a circle. Basically mandalas symbolize our universe, and the idea that everything in our universe is connected. If you are making these with kids, these will give them a taste of design, proportion, symmetry, and working with abstraction. Plus, they are meditattive (Mindful). And beautiful.
Directions: Trace a big circle on a piece of paper. We used an old plate (at least they’re getting used for something 😛 Cut out the circle carefully – hold 2 pieces of paper together to double time your cutting process, since you will want to be making more than one of these things. Kids can easily make their own easy mandalas with this folding trick, and use personal symbols or random abstract shapes to make this art project.



Watch your favorite childhood cartoons. Do not have to be TV. Even on your old Comic books. You can even Draw. You never know Your Talents ❤ Go for a mindful walk early in the morning when the air is fresh. Be mindful of each step you take, the sights, sounds and smells. Lose yourself to the experience. Lay down or sit on a warm grassy spot and watch the clouds go by. While you are at it, see if these clouds might carry a message for you. This is with, “A Rainbow” A Rainbow comes after it Rains and The sun comes out 🙂

Emotional Fitness:

What is emotional fitness: Emotional fitness: is the idea that the mind needs regular training exercise, just like our body does, in order to stay mentally and emotionally strong and healthy. Having good emotional fitness means that we can better cope with handling our emotions and our reactions to everyday situations. Emotional Fitness Emotional Fitness!

Thinking fitness is a condition that helps us look, feel and do our best. Thinking Fitness Thinking Fitness!

The definition of behavioral fitness is to conduct, routines, and habits that promote health and the ability to withstand, recover from, difficult times of stress. Behavioural Fitness Behavioural Fitness!

Spiritual fitness is about developing your Resilience skills through understanding your own beliefs and how you interact with the world. Whatever your spiritual orientation—or your opinions on religion and spirituality—you have a set of beliefs through which you live. Spiritual Fitness Spiritual Fitness!
